Aibu to think that this is a gorgeous and underused name?
I imagine a beautiful, sophisticated woman, camilla.
Or am I being entirely unreasonable that this would be a good name for a little girl born in 2018, and my hormones have done something to my mind?

Camilla means 'camel' in Greek.

I like it and didn't think if CPB. I like the nn Cam or Cami.

It's a lovely name - go for it.

Once it becomes your DD's name, she will be the association people have with the name.

It's a beautiful name...Cammie...Cam..Millie...all perfectly lovely diminutives too 💕 Go for it xx

BubblesAndSquarks · 01/04/2018 20:36

I know one who is always known as Milly, its not one of my personal favourites but there's nothing wrong with it as a name.
It could be shortened to cam too, if you like one those nicknames then I'd go with it.
I would be prepared for her not using her full name as she got older though as its a bit of a mouthful.

I think its a lovely name. We have a Camilla in my sons pre-school class. Sounds classy imo 😊
