They expired in July 2017

If they have not gone furry, probably. I think they contain a lot of salt (preservative) and it will be boiled to death anyway.

DarkRoomDarren · 24/03/2018 20:06

If they look and smell ok I’d have no problem using them.

pasturesgreen · 24/03/2018 20:06

No, that stuff lasts for ages.

alleypalley · 24/03/2018 20:07

I assume you mean best before and not use by. Best before is fine, it will just not be as flavoursome.

NannyR · 24/03/2018 20:08

They'll be fine. Best before means that the taste may start to deteriorate after that date but they will still be ok to eat.

Sarsparella · 24/03/2018 20:09

It’s never occurred to me to check dates on a stock cube, it’ll be fine I’m sure

ballerini · 24/03/2018 20:09

I would

Fruitcorner123 · 24/03/2018 20:09

Thanks. yes it's best before. Am going for it

I'd still use them in another five years!! They're foil wrapped; I don't even see how they could spoil.

Nakedavenger74 · 24/03/2018 20:22

I'd use them and not think twice.

My mother has nutmeg from Co-Op she still uses. BB date sadly missing but the price label remains. It's in shillingsGrin

Sarsparella · 24/03/2018 20:24

Do they have individual dates on the foil? I put mine into a tin rather than kept in the box
