I am going with a group of friends for a weekend away in Portugal this weekend. But we have no idea what to pack as the weather forcast is not good. Any of you wise women got some advice about what to pack. BTW just a relaxing break eating out and having a drink.

IME March was quite warm but rainy. It was around 19deg when we went but felt more like 16/17c with the sea breeze.
It was comfortable in jeans , vest top and a rain jacket. Maybe on a clear day , a summer dress with a cardi that you could take off. It wasn't bikini weather when we went , got one afternoon in shorts but would have been just as comfortable in linen trousers. Avoid sandals/flip flops only , maybe take one pair for beach but id stick to shoes and pumps/trainers.

Where are you going? When I've been in the Algarve around this time I've taken vests or lightweight longer sleeve tops with light cardis for layering and one hoodie and or light weight warm jacket for travel and evenings/wet days. I've got a pacamac as well, just in case. I don't do trousers so do summer and spring palate skirts or dresses that would work with nude tights and match cardis if it's chilly. DM takes pretty coloured cotton jeans and a couple of jersey Breton tees for travel and cool days but usually wears similar stuff to me otherwise. Pretty scarves are a handy extra. Usually take normal shoes and my sandals. Oh- take warm or fluffy socks - holiday apartments usually have tile floors and I like warm toes! I always take sunscreen, shades, and insect repellent.
