Was reading this article on huffpost and was bemused by this line:
‘Meanwhile, over the last couple of decades, an ever-growing body of research has revealed there are, in fact, important sex and gender differences ― in everything from how drugs are metabolized to how the same disease manifests itself to the prevalence rates for various conditions.’
And then clicked the link to discover that the author was citing work about biology and sex, and that - you guessed it - she hasn’t founD research that gender changes how medications metabolise. Who woulda thunk?
So, AIBU to think that people don’t even think about the fact that sex and gender are not synonymous?
