No - I meant that - unless they.re playing footsie with an institutional limit of some sort - people naturally seem to think in 'round numbers'. So.......$150,000, $100,000 even $125,000. I just don't get $130,000. It feels as if it ought to reference something or other.

I don't think anybody is interested in proof that the affair took place - Trump and Cohen's behaviour already pretty much confirms that it did.

Don't they have to offer a bit more, and quite soon, before the public loses interest?

As with the prior lawsuit, the most important consequence of this suit is that Michael Cohen may be subject to discovery, including a recorded deposition and subpoenas for emails and other documents. To avoid discovery, Cohen would need to win a motion to dismiss or settle.

I foresee a surprisingly fast and wholly exculpatory investigation which will nonetheless lead to a Javanka withdrawal on the grounds that they were 'only trying to serve and contribute' but they can't take the effect of such 'baseless accusations' on their family life any more.
