ApproachingATunnel · 17/03/2018 21:54

Measure tape and a rather odd dildo?..

Charolais · 17/03/2018 22:14

So I take it you folks don’t use inches anymore?

pestilentialboundary · 17/03/2018 22:47

Ooooh, extra pictures suddenly appeared. They weren't there earlier Confused

Charolais are you thinking Wraps per inch? Or depth gauge?

elephantoverthehill · 17/03/2018 23:11

Yes! Extra pictures! None the wiser though.

MiddleClassProblem · 17/03/2018 23:49

I can’t see the extra pictures. Could someone describe the new findings to me?

pestilentialboundary · 18/03/2018 00:01

AjasLipstick · 18/03/2018 00:36

DH says it's a fishing rig holder.

MiddleClassProblem · 18/03/2018 08:18

So no open ends.

gingergenius · 18/03/2018 08:38

Ooh yes to the Morris dancing equipment idea!!

vdbfamily · 18/03/2018 09:08

Is the cylinder flexible or ceramic

vdbfamily · 18/03/2018 09:10

It does not look as if it is designed to be held, the red hand is decorative and designed to be free-standing. I am wondering whether the holes had some little wooden rods stuck in and if it is for weaving/crochet/macrame/lace making??

OhMyGodTheyKilledKenny · 18/03/2018 09:17

Does the white bit come out of the hand, separating the 2 parts? If not then it can't be the candle-clock thing.

What is it made of?

OhMyGodTheyKilledKenny · 18/03/2018 09:19

Did anyone else do a tentative reverse google search of the image, scared of what might pop up in the results?!

AmethystRaven · 18/03/2018 09:22

You know the bit on Bargain Hunt where the contestants pick up random crap and the expert comes in and explains what it is? "Well what you've got there, red team, is a merkin rack..."

(Impressed that merkin is in my phone dictionary)

DontbeaDickaboutit · 18/03/2018 15:01

Made of plastic, we're not sure if the end doesn't come off or if it's stuck on....

OP posts:
Crispbutty · 18/03/2018 15:07

Is it plastic or Bakelite? The difference is a lot of money usually.

UpstartCrow · 18/03/2018 15:44

I used to have an uncle with a sense of humour and he made a Whats This Thing to be found after he had died. But it want anything like that.

Sugarhunnyicedtea · 18/03/2018 16:14

Oh no, now I'll have to follow this as well as the Facebook thread. I need to know what it is!

gingergenius · 18/03/2018 21:38

I thought I knew what a merkin was. Then I realised I was thinking of a Ferkin. So I'm no further on in my thinking!

flowerslemonade · 18/03/2018 21:56
