decided to illustrate a story about the rape of a 16 year old with a photo of a naked woman?

I won't provide a link for those of you who find it offensive, but has anyone else seen this today and thought what the actual fucking fuck??

Doesn't surprise me sadly. They are the absolute gutter press.

Babyroobs · 17/03/2018 13:59

I was totally disgusted to see they showed a video of an obviously confused elderly man ( possibly with dementia) attacking another patient in a hospital ward. Someone had obviously filmed this man on a hospital ward and sent it to the DM ??

DancingLedge · 17/03/2018 14:02

Details of how to complain to DM and to IPSO.

PompholyxOfUnknownOrigin · 17/03/2018 14:05

Complaining to IPSO is useless unless you are the actual individual who has been affected by the news story. Otherwise they won't act.

BoreOfWhabylon · 17/03/2018 14:09

I've rung the DM before about similar things. Sometimes they remove/edit if you shout loud enough.

I've also discovered that, if you name the person who has written the article, they actually put you through to that person.

viques · 17/03/2018 14:37

Another revolting habit they have is picturing children born with disfiguring or unusual health anomalies , or who have been victims of abuse or horrific injury - but only if they have been born in third world countries. The privacy of western born children is respected, presumably because they have better lawyers

GorgeousJaws · 17/03/2018 14:48

A million times yes to what viques said, that annoys me so much.

himalayansalt · 17/03/2018 23:51

Agreed. They are also happy to publish pictures of dead bodies so long as they died elsewhere in the world. It really is a hideous publication.
