Normally a huge snow lover what we had a couple of weeks ago was just too much. Cost me £400 and snowed in for days.
And now it's snowing again- and it it lying.

I am in the mood for bunny hopping egg rolling sunny day type weather- not this!!

@wanderings it is exactly because of global warming that we are getting this weather. The Arctic is unusually warm and is pushing this cold front further south and east than normal.

It's also statistically far more likely to snow in March than December.

We keep greeting heavy bursts in West Yorkshire.

rocketgirl22 · 17/03/2018 09:00

Snowing in north cotswolds. Love snow, but not in March after such a long winter.
It will kill off the spring flowers and we are all tired of it. Lets pray for some warm spring sunshine

Steeley113 · 17/03/2018 09:02

The odd flake here in Derbyshire. Ground is very wet so don’t think it will settle. I was planning on taking the kids to library this morning but it’s cold and I’m having some horrendous braxton hicks so I think I’ll skip it. Would be just my luck for us to get snowed in later and my Braxtons to turn into labour Grin

OliviaStabler · 17/03/2018 09:03

It is snowing here but not settling. The cats like watching the snow so there is an upside Grin

MillieMoodle · 17/03/2018 09:06

Snowing lightly on Northants/Bucks border. Ground is wet so hoping it doesn't settle. Thoroughly fed up of snow. I love all the seasons but I am more than ready for spring now. Being full of cold and cooped up with two ill children isn't helping my grumpy mood this morning either.

dementedma · 17/03/2018 09:07

snowing and bitterly cold in East Fife.
However it's the tiny flakes known as dandruff snow in this house, so hopefully won't cause too much of an issue.

elliejjtiny · 17/03/2018 09:10

Nothing here in Somerset. Really hoping it doesn't snow again. I want to take my DC out in the garden without freezing.

Witchend · 17/03/2018 09:12

It's snowing! I'm happy! Ds is saying why couldn't it have happened on Monday.

rocketgirl22 · 17/03/2018 09:12

It is snow dome snow, light and swirling. Quite pretty if we were in mid winter...looks odd with the pink blossom and daffodils.

OhYouBadBadKitten · 17/03/2018 09:12

forecasts are in this thread in the weather section :)

Bratsandtwats · 17/03/2018 09:13

Shropshire/Staffordshire border here. Windy, cold and just started to snow those stupid polystyrene balls.

SumAndSubstance · 17/03/2018 09:32

Snowing lightly here in Oxfordshire and some of it seems to be sticking. Is the wrong thread to say I LOVE snow and I'm very happy...?

VeganCatLover · 17/03/2018 09:37

I had no idea we were forecast snow, it's literally just started! That's me making bread today then because last time it took 2 weeks for the supermarkets to get stock in!

ginghamstarfish · 17/03/2018 09:37

Proper snow here in Scottish borders, and starting to settle. Freezing wind too. Amazed that some had a sunny day yesterday, here it was freezing wind and rain all day.

HonkyWonkWoman · 17/03/2018 09:43

Blizzard here NE Manchester! Bloody snow!!!!

VeganCatLover · 17/03/2018 09:43

Was warm yesterday at about 11 and really sunny I didn't need a jacket.

NameChanger22 · 17/03/2018 09:46

We've had everything apart from sunshine - hgh winds, fog, snow, rain. No wonder the British talk about the weather all the time, it keeps on demanding attention.

Alwayslumpyporridge · 17/03/2018 09:50

I am in Surrey just a flurry currently, I was hoping to go to London for st Patrick’s day fun but may have to cancel if trains stop running

Nousernameforme · 17/03/2018 09:53

North somerset here. Snowing on and off so far very cold we have an amber warning now it was supposed to be rain today snow tomorrow with the added advantage that the rain would stop it settling. Hoping they don't have another snow day Monday

GimbleInTheWabe · 17/03/2018 09:54

Snow settling here in SE London, though we do seem to have our own weather climate up here...

Onlyoldontheoutside · 17/03/2018 09:55

I look be snow when I'm at home but I am working this weekend long days with a late finish so I'm praying it doesn't settle as it's a good 30 mile journey there.

theoldtrout01876 · 17/03/2018 09:59

I can relate. We had 25 inches here on Wednesday,10 the Thursday before and looks like another storm due middle of next week. Im in Massachusetts and its March fer gods sake

laddylonglocks · 17/03/2018 10:00

It keeps alternating between blizzards here in North Yorkshire, and then blue skies, then back to whiteouts! It's scheduled all day. I love snow and love winter, and I'm so glad we got a decent one a few weeks ago for the kids sake, but I'm over it now! Come on Spring! We were supposed to go to Knowsley safari today.

lynmilne65 · 17/03/2018 10:08

light here in Perth x

Sallystyle · 17/03/2018 10:16

Yes and sick of it.

It is light, but it is awfully cold and miserable.

I just need summer now. I need sun and I need heat.
