No. It's a horrible task. They need sheltered drive through pick ups at all schools and nurseries Grin

Was lovely and sunny here but has suddenly gone very dark and cold, just in time for the school run Hmm

Do it! Extra cardio as well which means you can have a totally calorie-free biscuit when you get back :)

Isn't that often the way missy?!

In fairness we are very close to the school (only about 200yds) but the playground is so exposed and DD1's teacher always lets them out last - regularly 10min after the bell has gone - so there's an awful lot of standing around waiting.

Home now and slowly re-warming. It's foul out there today!

YABVU to tantrum about a 200 yard school run - try a 200 yard school run and two 45 minute dog walks!

Mine was a 20 minute downhill at fast walk on the way there.
30 minute uphill with 2 dawdly tired DC on the way home.
And on the days I wasn't at work (P/T 3 days) I did it there/back/there/back.
Through a park . Completely exposed.
