In being fuming at Serenata flowers?

Sorry if this isn't allowed Mumsnet. Delete if I'm being naughty. I just wanted to give people a heads up, as I wish I'd had!

Ordered flowers for both my Mum and Gran last week from Serenata flowers.

My Gran's turned up on the right day but pretty much dead, my Mum's turns up a week late and dead!! During the whole time I was lied to and insulted by their customer service. And they only bothered contacting me back at all when I took to Twitter!

Total refusal to give me a refund, send replacement flowers or even a good will discount (not that I'd use them again.)

They're based in Malta so don't fall under our trading standards laws.

Looking at reviews online, twitter and their Facebook etc there have been 1000's of people with similar problems. They can't delete the angry comments fast enough.

Anyway, sorry for the rant, it just makes me bloody annoyed that I spent £100 on dead flowers and rudeness and that so many others are too and they're completely getting away with it!

Steer clear.

Deal with it through your credit card provider.

I used a debit card through my bank. Can they still help?

Contact your credit card company for a refund

43percentburnt · 15/03/2018 17:05

Yes contact them. Takes longer and not as reliable but I've managed it.

shesalady · 15/03/2018 17:06

I didn't realise that was an option!! Thank you!!

Do your Mum and Grandma live in Malta?

shesalady · 15/03/2018 17:07

I'm not usually one of these 'complain on Twitter and stamp your feet' types of people but they've been SO rude!
