Why is it ok for man to earn more but not the wife. ?

Why is it ok for the wife to have no qualifications or be a SAHM while the husband is on 6 figures or above 50k but not ok if the husband is staying at home or being low income ? It’s 2018!

I think it's a very old fashioned and sexist.
in this vast world one will always encounter those with views we disagree with. just choose your circles wisely or in the case of work ignore and dont engage with them beyond work matters.
