How is Mini Natsku doing?

He's doing great, and have finally chosen a name for him - Konstantin Justus (gotta have something relating to Mr. Justice!)

cozietoesie · 18/03/2018 07:17

Konstantin Justus.

One heck of a name for a wee scrap. Wink

cozietoesie · 18/03/2018 07:20

I'm so pleased that he's doing great. Smile

OnTheDarkSideOfTheSpoon · 18/03/2018 07:49

Ah what a wonderful name natsku! I love the link to the judge.

cave how is cavebaby doing? Please tell me cavebaby is still a cavebaby and not a caveteenager

cozietoesie · 18/03/2018 07:52

I'd just point out that not only is Jefferson Beauregard still there but so is Rosenstein. .

OnTheDarkSideOfTheSpoon · 18/03/2018 08:09

I'm not sure cozie. With most people in this farce, when there have been apparent contradictions between positions that seem as though there might be a grand plan, it's usually turned out to be just a symptom of their stupidity/propensity for chaos at play.

Not to say that it's not possible but my feelings at this moment is that that would be an overinflation of Sessions' abilities or even intentions.

cozietoesie · 18/03/2018 08:14

I just don't know. He's been in the firing line for so many many months. Yet he's still there....

lionheart · 18/03/2018 08:15

That is a very fine name Natsku. Smile

cozietoesie · 18/03/2018 08:17

Isn't it though? Smile

OnTheDarkSideOfTheSpoon · 18/03/2018 08:20

Until he isn't Grin Rumours abound that he's next (rumours on the same grape vines that detailed last week's departures - tillerson, mcmaster etc).

I saw something about a plan to replace sessions with pruitt by why that might not work.

www.politico.com/magazine/story/2018/03/16/jeff-sessions-replace-with-scott-pruitt-donald-trump-217646

But you may be right, it's just that all of Trump's compatriots have constantly excelled reaching new heights of ineptitude so it's hard to imagine there's any sort of plan at play!

OnTheDarkSideOfTheSpoon · 18/03/2018 08:23

quantum nearly all of trump's actions have shown a reckless disreard for self preservation! E.g he fired Comey, went on tv and told Holt that it was to make the Russia stuff go away, and the day after the firing had Russian officials in the oval office and told them that firing the "nut job" relieved pressure on him.

At every turn, he's made it worse for himself. This isn't a new phenomenon.

Why does one of the co-founders of GSR who help breach Facebook for SCL still work at Facebook? @aprilaser asks and I hope Senators and Attorneys General also ask.

I don't think an investigative reporter should be surprised by facebook trying to get out in front of a story (unless my sarcasm dectector has broken) Grin

gotta day, really surprised that @facebook burned us by posting a notice of suspension for Cambridge Analytica et al before we published. especially since they have been so far behind this story. this attempt to appear “out front” is totally disingenuous.

Same thing happened on a smaller level to me last year after I asked about use of custom audiences by IRA trolls. FB also did it to Fast Company regarding IRA use of Instagram. In both cases they updated an existing blog post to add important new info before journos published.

Facebook not exactly coming up smelling of roses. Again.

Trump campaign consultant took data about millions of users without their knowledge
www.washingtonpost.com/business/economy/trump-campaign-consultant-took-data-about-millions-of-users-without-their-knowledge/2018/03/17/bab541f4-2a18-11e8-ab19-06a445a08c94_story.html?utm_term=.18f1900cc164

Despite years of reports of developers abusing data, Facebook’s processes for dealing with developers who broke the company’s rules were lax, said two former Facebook employees whose job it was to review data use by third parties. The company does not audit developers who siphon data, the people said. If a developer was found to have broken the rules — usually because of a story in the news — the company would give them a warning or kick them off the platform, but it did not take steps to ensure that data taken inappropriately had been deleted, they said.

Sandy Parakilas, a former privacy manager at Facebook, said that during his tenure at Facebook, the company did not conduct a single audit of developers.

Facebook “relied on the word of Kogan and Cambridge Analytica to delete the data, rather than conducting an audit, which they had a right to do in the case of Kogan. They did not investigate further even after it became clear that CA had bragged about having 5,000 data points on every American, data which likely came from Facebook. They only banned Kogan and CA yesterday to get in front of the press cycle,” Parakilas said. “During my 16 months at the company, I don’t recall Facebook ever using its audit rights on a developer.”
