It is an old film - it would have been old when I watched it as quite a young person. The only scene I can remember is of a woman sitting in bed, frightened, because she can hear someone coming up the stairs towards her room. Her husband has contracted someone to kill her but has changed his mind and is trying to telephone to call it off but it is too late. Ring any bells at all? Really want to know what it was!
