AIBU to want to mark my divorce anniversary?

A year ago today I got my decree absolute, bringing to an end of the worst chapter of my life.
I kind of feel the need to mark the day - what do other people do?

I've never been in this situation but I think you should do something totally indulgent just for yourself - pamper night at home, shopping day, dinner with friends, whatever you feel is the best celebration!

But why don't you do something indulgent, nice meal out with a friend, a movie, a day out doing something your ex would never do?

Treat yourself to something nice. Bottle of champagne, big box of naice chocolates whatever your thing is.

It would have been my 25th wedding anniversary this year, had I not bailed out after 7. I'll be giving myself a hug and congratulations on not wasting the last 18 years.
