That is utterly brilliant. Well done to them.

SuperLoudPoppingAction · 03/03/2018 10:05

Love a bit of subvertising!
The fact they were created by young people makes it all the more fabulous

Flutterbyeee · 03/03/2018 10:05

MargeryFenworthy · 03/03/2018 10:06

Beautiful! Amazing to see.

PearlyG8 · 03/03/2018 10:07

I am feeling really moved. Just purely positive like listening to 'Young Gifted and Black' for the first time.

This a great idea as a black woman there's definitely not enough positive roles for black people in media, I'm more aware of this fact too since having my DS and I hope it changes soon.

Lonelynessie · 03/03/2018 10:12

Love it.

RoboticSealpup · 03/03/2018 10:13

It's very intelligent and impactful.

Littlelambpeep · 03/03/2018 10:14

Really powerful. Well done to them. Hope it makes an impact.

Love it!

lasttimeround · 03/03/2018 10:17

Oh makes my heart smile. I'm mixed race. I know all about underrepresentation in my head but am surprised at the lift I got just watching the black panther ad. I'm off to repost all over my social media

Reluctant2ndtimer · 03/03/2018 10:20

Brilliant. As a white woman in an area with very little ethnic diversity this has really made me realise my white privilage as I have never noticed the lack of BME faces in advertising etc, despite having a mixed race husband, children and in laws.
I wish we could have some of this way up north too.

Loonoon · 03/03/2018 10:22

It's fantastic. Well done to those young people for thinking of it and making it happen.

iklboo · 03/03/2018 10:24

They're great. I'd love to see more & agree with @Reluctant2ndtimer

YTho · 03/03/2018 10:25

I saw it and loved it, great way to bring attention to the issue. Someone did something similar to female vs male representation in advertising which is also worth a look. I don't have the link but I'm sure Google will help.

chickenowner · 03/03/2018 10:25

I LOVE this! Thank you for sharing.

HairyBallTheorem · 03/03/2018 10:27

Those are fabulous, Pearly. Going to have to track down the other posters now.

CavoliRiscaldati · 03/03/2018 10:28

Try replacing black leads with white faces and see how it goes Hmm

I hate this sort of nonsense, and I can't be remotely mistaken for a white person!

DannyLaRuesBestFrock · 03/03/2018 10:28

Read this this morning and it made me happy. Sad really, but definitely has the right impact.

SavoyCabbage · 03/03/2018 10:30

Brilliant. When I read to my dd at bedtime I try to change the descriptions of a character so they aren’t all white. Joan Townsend from naughtiest girl in the school at the moment.
