To think eating a whole tub of ice cream isn’t normal?

I don’t like the word normal but I couldn’t think of anything else.

Now I can have my piggy moments and binge.

We were talking about takeaways and a friend said she could easily and does eat an entire tub of ice cream with her dominos pizza.

Do other people do this?

I put the ice-cream in the wine and have a booze float. Whilst lying on a bed of pizza slices.

TheDailyMailIsADisgustingRag · 03/03/2018 14:44

I’m not one of the ones who was horrified at the idea of eating a whole tub of ice cream (if it’s the pint sized ones I’m thinking of). I imagine I probably could sink a whole one of those tubs with ease, if I put my mind to it. But then, why would I put my mind to it I guess?

But, tbf, there are probably a lot more calories, more sugar and definitely a lot more fat in a tub of B&J’s than in a bottle of wine (not plonk thanks Grin)! Not that I’d usually drink an entire bottle by myself anyway. I have done it before, but not regularly and not for years.

Disgusted = jealous

🍕🍕🍕🍕🍧🍧🎂🍫🍫🍩😂😂😋

stevie69 · 03/03/2018 15:23

No. But then .... I don't like ice cream Blush

Growingboys · 03/03/2018 15:23

WTF is 'normal'?

I am slimmish but last month I came home desperate for chocolate and had three Creme Eggs. On Christmas Day I probably eat approx 3 million calories at lunch.

If you pig out every now and then it's not a problem.

GreeboIsMySpiritAnimal · 03/03/2018 15:35

You're just coming across as a bit of a pig, tbh smash.

Isjaki · 03/03/2018 15:40

Each to their own. Someone on the internet eats more ice-cream than you think they should. So what, quite frankly.

Lashalicious · 03/03/2018 15:42

Are we talking a pint size?

If we are, I can easily do that. I thought at first you were talking a half gallon and I thought, yeah probably. .

My one weakness food wise is ice cream. I am not into Ben and Jerry’s though which is more dense, I like the less dense types. I only keep frozen yogurt in the house and don’t eat ice cream anymore because I can’t trust myself, but I can easily eat half of a half gallon of the frozen yogurt. Somebody help me!

smashyourglasses · 03/03/2018 15:43

You're coming across as a bit of a pig screaming for attention.

So now what. Now where are we.

GreeboIsMySpiritAnimal · 03/03/2018 15:45

My my! Well I'm certainly not jealous of your charm Grin

Lashalicious · 03/03/2018 15:47

You’re getting dairy and protein, right? I’ve convinced myself that frozen yogurt is a health food. But I guess it’s not.

I remember the days when eggs were considered death orbs but now everybody eats them to get away from carbs.

smashyourglasses · 03/03/2018 15:47

You should be, as you could clearly use some 👍

Lashalicious · 03/03/2018 15:49

I’ve managed to find a brand of frozen yogurt that tastes exactly like ice cream so now I’m back where I started, although surely I’m saving some calories and fat....

macbethh · 03/03/2018 15:49

Easy

GreeboIsMySpiritAnimal · 03/03/2018 15:50

Not of your particular brand, I feel.

smashyourglasses · 03/03/2018 15:51

I eat lots of healthy food and dairy, but especially protein, i do a lot of cycling. I love a good egg butty 😍 i should try some frozen yoghurt, thanks for the tip.

smashyourglasses · 03/03/2018 15:52

That's great greebo, so move on with the bitterness.

That's the thing with me and a pint of ice cream - we're not bitter 😂😂

Give it a shot maybe 👍

Clandestino · 03/03/2018 15:53

Increased activity wont help if you put away 3000 calories in one dominos pizza and a walk to the shops and hoovering really isnt going to cut it.

That's true. But if the pizza is once in a week or two treat and so is the ice-cream, you can handle it without any problems. It's about what you eat on a regular basis that's the most important thing. If I know that I just ate the beef stew I made myself and the bread I baked myself and used my own recipe instead of a shop bought mixture and so I know what's inside, I am not bothered about what kind of treat we have. And if it's a whole pizza or a whole tub of ice-cream, so be it. I don't like diet Nazis.

GreeboIsMySpiritAnimal · 03/03/2018 15:55

I don't especially like ice cream, but that's ok, as neither am I bitter. I have no reason to be. But I still believe greed in all forms is deeply unpleasant.

smashyourglasses · 03/03/2018 15:56

No one cares.

Bye.

GreeboIsMySpiritAnimal · 03/03/2018 15:57

Good day to you.

IveGotBillsTheyreMultiplying · 03/03/2018 16:02

I've never tried dominoes but we have 3 normal supermarket pizza between six with salad. I don't get why pizza is meant to be unhealthy, to me it's a meal we have on a day where there's not much time to cook.

I don't often buy ice-cream, (we only have puddings on Sunday) but we sometimes have it at a café when you have a couple of scoops. I see it as a treat as it's basically sugar and fat. I've never had Ben and Jerry's.

According to this thread my life must be completely void of all joy.Grin

TheKitchenWitch · 03/03/2018 16:07

Think from this thread the definition of “normal” needs to be readjusted.

Isjaki · 03/03/2018 16:16

I've never had Ben and Jerry's

You're not missing out. It's too sweet and always packed with too many 'bits'.

Chocachoo · 03/03/2018 16:40

Very normal! Did just that last night with B&J Chocolate Fudge Brownie (this was instead of an actual savory dinner tho!) 👍
