Should I attempt to go into work?

We are in south east wales, got a few inches of snow but not as much as forecast.
I work 7 miles away.
My immediate boss and the big boss (only 7 people in company) live within a mile or so and will be walking in if can’t drive
The others live Cardiff way.
Would you attempt to drive in? Walking would take probably 2 hours in this weather and some of it doesn’t have pavements.
I’m nothing important (admin) but am fairly new so don’t want to not go in if they are thinking I could have got there!

I’m in the valleys, work is 3 miles away and I’m not attempting it even in a 4x4.

No way to walking 7 miles
Glad they said it was ok

Glad you got it sorted :-).

For future reference, walking about 7 miles in these conditions would likely take around 3 hours (you wouldn't be able to stride along briskly on the ice and snow) and I think once there, you should be allowed to get back home before dark in this weather (especially with roads without pavements). So the amount of time you could be there in the middle would be pretty small!
