It's march!
It's supposed to be nearly spring!
I hate snow!
Sads has seemed long this season!

I have done the same but it didn't seem to be interested in my opinion. In fact it totally ignored me. If it isn't prepared to engage in a dialogue I don't see how we can expect to make any progress.

HoneyDragon · 01/03/2018 13:32

I tried that. It blew my hat off the blizzard cunt.

HoneyDragon · 01/03/2018 13:32

*blizzardy cunt

falsepriest · 01/03/2018 13:35

Hardly got any here. Your snow can fuck off my way if you like!

BarbarianMum · 01/03/2018 13:47

From a purely personal point of view YABVU. We are all snowed in and having a great time. Even dragged dh away from his computer for a couple of hours to go sledging. Haven't been able to do that for 4 years. Kids are happy, I'm happy, cocoa w marshmallows is happening...

Maybe a compromise? We can enjoy the snow today and it melts away overnight?

MsHarry · 01/03/2018 13:48

Yeah , fed up with the cold now.

HollyBayTree · 01/03/2018 13:49

February is always the coldest month, same as August is always the hottest. Mid winter/summer are not the high/low points of the year

MsHarry · 01/03/2018 13:50

August isn't though is it? In the UK we frequently have heat wave sin May and June and crap weather in July and August in comparison.

WonderLime · 01/03/2018 13:52

I am livid with the fucking snow! It's been shit weather all week and I don't want to take my 7 month out, so I've been housebound. I'm lonely and so bored. Sad

YouCantGetHereFromThere · 01/03/2018 13:54

I'll join you. We've had snow since December. I'm ready to move to the Bahamas.

BakedBeans47 · 01/03/2018 13:55

YANBU it’s shite and my kids and husband are here ruining what should be my lovely day off.

Bluelady · 01/03/2018 13:56

You're right. I'm so over this winter. But they say if March comes in like a lion, it leaves like a lamb so Easter should be lovely.

Redglitter · 01/03/2018 13:57

I'm in hospital. 2nd day of no visitors and the food is getting worse as supplies can't get in 😣

BexleyRae · 01/03/2018 13:57

Yes! This snow can fuck off and then fuck off a bit more. I was meant to be signing paperwork for our council flat today but the appointment has been cancelled due to the shitty arising cocking snow

frankchickens · 01/03/2018 13:58

YANBU (for you) but I don't mind it. I like the climate of the UK and I wouldn't change a thing.

OnlyFoolsnMothers · 01/03/2018 13:58

Considering we had a crap Summer, some 30degree temp days last May and a rubbish July and August, I really feel a snowy winter is unjust!!!

howthelightgetsin · 01/03/2018 14:00

I love snow normally. But I’m just so over this winter. We live in a very old house and I just want to feel WARM again. I want to be able to go outside with my son (he’s a bit too young to find the snow fun and won’t go near it). I’m over the logistics of trying to get to and from nursery keeping us both warm and safe from ice.

1happyhippie · 01/03/2018 14:02

I'm sick of it too op.
Had to take the day off work as the dc are on a second snow day. They have been in and out all morning, bringing chunks of the stuff in with them. They now are on their fourth change of clothes.
I am sick of being cold, the boiler pipes froze so not working at the minute and it's still bloody snowing!!!!

Anymajordude · 01/03/2018 14:02

It's got until Saturday. If my work is closed I won't get paid.

Snow's a bastard. It's causing my neighbours to be all friendly. One set has invited us for lemon drizzle cake and some others for gin. Why can't they be miserable and let me snooze in front to the telly in peace?

MsHarry · 01/03/2018 16:15

If I can't get to Birmingham to see Elbow on Saturday night I will be a very sad captain.Sad

MsHarry · 01/03/2018 16:17

Oh red here is a cuppa and a virtual cake! Get well soon. Cake Brew

PickAChew · 01/03/2018 16:19

I'm bored of it. Yesterday afternoon was quite pleasant for a trudge but the wind is nasty, today, and it's painful to be out in and it's causing chaos.

frankchickens · 01/03/2018 16:49

We didn't have a crap summer though.

cadburyegg · 01/03/2018 16:53

YANBU and I particularly hate the “people shouldn’t be going out at all in this weather”. I’m due to be induced with second baby on Saturday and I’m worried about getting to hospital but also how grandparents will get to us to look after DS1 Sad it’s very stressful.

susiegrapevine · 01/03/2018 16:54

Its not the snow thats bothering me so much the 1st day was quiet enjoyable even the up and down the hill on the school run its just too fucking cold!! I am a southern nancy i know but i can't even remember the last time it was minus 5 i just don't have the right clothes to keep me warm!
