to ask when you can insist on going home?

I'm in West Yorkshire. Pretty high up in my area. Snow is blizzarding, light to heavy and back again and has been since I got up this morning. Dropped DS at nursery (Who said they may call to get parents to collect their children so keep an ear out) and made my way in to work.

It's pretty hairy on some of the roads with some barely used so that you're driving on snow. I work on a business park which isn't gritted.

There's a few of us made it in. The snow is still coming and is set to be on til about 3pm then die off til 5 then start again.

I wondered if you have a time where you can rightfully insist on going home?

My boss is the kind "Well you're here now so you might aswell stay kind"

Up to you - as far as I know there are no rules.
