Mummy her pants are really really tiny

So last night after losing my scales in January and after an extremely stressful period studying & Uni tuition fee problems I finally found my scales and found myself at my heaviest ever in my life. I discovered my ex having an affair and we split up over 2.5 years ago and at the time I was in the process of losing weight healthily as I’m not a big person anyway and after the “divorce diet” I was at my thinnest since having my second 7 years ago. He split up from OW 6 months ago but has had a new girlfriend within a month who is nearer to my DD10’s age than his but seems lovely. And they like her so that is all that matters.

But recent events have led me to not look after myself and not exercise at all since September. But the stone I’ve put on is only since January. So I’ve had a pretty miserable night just wanting to stuff my face but I didn’t.

This morning DD6 is in my room getting dressed with me. Whilst watching me she turns around and says
“Mummy (New GF)’s pants are really really really tiny. And it goes in her bum but she doesn’t pull it out like I do. Mummy she just keeps it on like that and wears her jeans over. But they are so very very tiny.” With pure amazement in her eyes. Whilst I didn’t know if I wanted to laugh or cry.

Now she’s never seen me wear tiny pants because even when I were slimmer after kids I tend to go for comfort more than anything.

But AIBU to want to finish a whole family pack of mini choc rolls from miserableness at that picture in my head.

To top it off I’m meeting Tiny Pants for the first time tomorrow. Please mumsnetters be there in person with me so that I can look at her instead of picturing her in very tiny pants.

MrsMaxwell

I always thought that DD10 meant DD who is 10? I always used DD3 DS4, DS8 and DD10, am I doing it wrong?

BlueMirror · 26/02/2018 22:40

She will pass the inevitable yeast into to the cheating piece of shit ex though giving him a xoxo as itchy and sore as he deserves.

owlonabike · 26/02/2018 22:41

Well, when I started typing that post there were only two replies. I’m not cut out for this computer lark...

FairyFuckDailyMail · 26/02/2018 22:41

hidengosqueak oh my I can’t stop laughing.

I don’t think there are any hard and fast rules here and I am by no means the authority but DS1 means my eldest son who is 20 not 1.

FairyFuckDailyMail · 26/02/2018 22:43

MrsMaxwell 100% that is how I normally use it and understand it myself but it was pure lazy typing and to not make the post too long.

I bet her arse looks rubbish in a thong. TinyPants aka Little TP is a brilliant name. Don't cry, laugh if you can. And fuck it, have a couple of mini rolls. Grin

MrsMaxwell · 26/02/2018 22:44

WTF is the silly cow doing prancing around in her underwear in front of your 10 DDs anyway?!

Grin
FairyFuckDailyMail · 26/02/2018 22:44

owlonabike if only it’s jusy a stone. The stone is since January. In total I have 3 stone to lose hopefully before May for a friends wedding. And thanks for the sisterly solidarity. Appreciated.

I think the convention on ages is to bracket so DD(10) number with no bracket is birth order so DS1 and DS2. So presumably you could do both DD2(7).

But you can usually work it out from context!

BettyBooJustDoinTheDoo · 26/02/2018 22:46

Thongs are a bit early noughties, a bit passé if that’s any comfort!

Mrsmadevans · 26/02/2018 22:46

Be so lovely to her that it puts doubts in her mind about him . How could he leave such a wonderful woman? There must be something wrong with him! It is really doing her a kindness OP Good Luck m'dear.

AlpacaLypse · 26/02/2018 22:50

Appreciate this potential step mum is new on the scene and NOT the Other Woman. But ... thongs.... honestly...??? Just why? Does any actual normal human female really want a bit of baling twine up their arse crack?

MrsMaxwell · 26/02/2018 22:51

I wear them Blush

But only so as not to have VPL.

FairyFuckDailyMail · 26/02/2018 22:52

So I don’t even know what I am supposed to talk to her about. Do I bring up the walking in her pants issue. I just genuinely don’t want to fight anymore. It’s been the hardest 2.5 years with him and his behaviour. What I definitely will bring up is to treat my girls like the young and innocent girls they still are.
They normally come home with her perfume which I already put a stop to.
She wanted to do their nails over at the end of half term and I said no.
My ex was never keen for earrings but he even offered to pay for it which I said no to. And I feel like if my girls get to those phases it’s for me as their mum to be part of it. Not someone who came into their life without them asking few months ago.

My DD1(10) automatically tells me everything and sometimes I don’t want to know but I’ve noticed that’s she’s attempting to copy her when she dresses over the weekend. Or photos get sent over after a weekend with her wearing TinyPants jumper (that’s apparently too small).

Love the things kids come out with. Today on the way home from school my DD5 said ‘mummy am Can I have kids when I’m older’ I found it totally hilarious. But nothing was to prepare me for the picture she brought home a few weeks ago. A picture of me with to massive circles. I asked her what they were and she said they are boobies, I asked her was that suppose to be me. She said of course you’ve got big boobies who else would it be... 5 years old... I’d love to know where she picks this stuff up from. On the contrary it was hilarious 😂😂

Italiangreyhound · 26/02/2018 22:56

@FairyFuckDailyMail back away from the mini rolls and look after yourself, for yourself. Not to impress Ms Tinypants, or your dd or anyone, but for you. Find your inner strength. You've got something far better than tiny pants, you've got your two amazing daughters and our bodies are usually not the same after that. But you can be fitter and healthier. Good luck and tell us all about the meeting after it happens!

ILostItInTheEarlyNineties · 26/02/2018 23:00

Little TP is very young so I suppose you have to expect your dds to not view her as a mother figure, more of an older "friend" for want of a better word.
You're not wrong in sticking to your boundaries. They're not dollies for her to play with and dress up, although I'm sure she is well meaning.

When you meet her, perhaps replace the word "thing" with "thong" just for your own amusement..
Hi how are thongs? Sorry I'm a bit late, somethong came up, everythong's fine now.. and so on Wink

LoveProsecco · 26/02/2018 23:02

Well said ItalianGreyhound Star

Take care OP Thanks

Efrig · 26/02/2018 23:04

C’mon, they’re going to be irritating her haemorrhoids aren’t they? They might even get them tangled up and that would be awful for her.

What's more important than the pants she wears is - is she nice to your DD's.

I know it's a bit lighthearted but just because a woman wears a thong she must have pus pouring down her arse, thrush and all the rest of it or maybe she has a huge arse so her pants look tiny in comparison Hmm Talk about tearing strips off her due to her choice of underwear.

This is a new GF, not the OW, so she hasn't done anything wrong except let the DD see her underwear (and if a thong, then her bottom as well) but this could have been accidental (DD coming in whilst she was getting dressed for example) rather than flaunting. I would have an issue with flaunting/not caring to cover up as such but not the choice of underwear, but if it was not purposeful showing of underwear and bottom then it doesn't really matter what she wears. Plenty of nice/decent/good women wear thongs too.

What does matter is how nice she is to DD's, is she pleasant, responsible etc.

Qvar · 26/02/2018 23:23

Come now. Tiny pants hurt your taint, real people know this. Your daughter is amazed at them but you know they hurt, and cause thrush

Well whoever she is and whatever sized pants she wears she's not the woman who split up your marriage 2.5 years ago. Not sure why posters are so quick to bitch about the poor woman Confused

Anyway, she may be a lovely though enviably skinny woman who will be nice to your children and that's more important than whether a piece of lace fits between your arse cheeks Smile

Hope the meeting goes well OP.
