Saturday shop assistant (Primark on a Saturday having to put all the discarded clothes back on the rails)

Toll booth money collected (on some grim/cold bridge)

Night worker on the motorway

Teacher

Nursery worker

Childminder

I'd love to be a Dr/Nurse/Pathologist

Sales. I can't stand sales people, and I havent got the gift of the gab

Sorting out returned items by post / especially clothes, abbatoir or butcher,

Chugger or car salesman.

Prostitution.

Troysmammy Oh goodness, sorry to hear about your op and absolutely understandable then. I was genuinely interested as the statement tickled me for some reason! Must be my warped sense of humour.

Anything involving dealing with the general public. I have 10 years of retail work under my belt and I hated every single stinking one of them.
Anything involving being on my feet all day or heavy lifting.
If there was a job for lurking somewhere quiet and watching Netflix all day, I'd be great at it.

Anything to do with septic tanks/ toilets/ drains .... and thanks to the folks who do these jobs!

Doctor

Office work
Sales
Anything with animals

Dentist - I don't have the dexterity anyway, but I wouldn't want a job where everyone who came through the door was scared of me!

I work with Non domestic rates and last week a caller asked what had I done wrong in a past life to have ended up working here in this?

I laughed but as I enjoy my work I do wonder if I should be worried?

Anything involving heights
Anything dangerous
Cold calling
Meat production or cooking meat
Working in a hospital
Any job where I have to work nights

That kind of rules out a lot of jobs.

Anything in the abbatoir / meat industry

pest control

A sanitary bin emptier.

Oh and a grim one, I work with a service provider whose job it is to go in and "clean up" following a suicide on the rail/road network. I imagine that is harrowing and distressing work.

Scary high powered, high pressure, high responsibility business type job with masses of networking with other scary high powered professionals.

Or Groom of the Stool. Boak.

Military. Anything with children as playing games etc doesn't come naturally to me and I find it tedious (can just about do it with my 4yo but couldn't do it all day for a living!)

My job gets mentioned loads on these threads. There's a fair bit of money in it though if you're good at it (sales).

Pretty much anything other than what I do: I like my chosen vocation

Anything involving the following:
Blood, faeces, urine, spit, sputum, pus, vomit, other bodily fluids

I used to want to be a nurse when I was little, but it's probably fair to say it wouldn't have been my ideal career

Oh, and I couldn't be a manager/team leader or anything like that. I don't want the responsibility.

The person that empties sanatary bins.

Anything that involves heights, underground or small spaces.

I'm amazed how many people say carer! I do that, and a contact centre job. And I dislike people

Strangely I have a reputation as a calm, not bothered by anything, never flustered, carer
