I’ve been here in various incarnations and it’s been a wild ride. I’ve had this username for a few months but am familiar with many of you from my other names I’ve used to stop me being outed.
I’ve not really managed to share my journey totally with anyone else aside from mumsnet, and with you all I’ve been through an abusive partner, infertility due to PCOS, a miracle pregnancy and an earth shattering episode of antinatal psychosis that left me trying to jump under a train last year and traveling a 500 mile round trip to terminate my much wanted pregnancy at almost twenty weeks due to the psychosis.

I’ve had my last follow up at the antinatal clinic today after regular visits and I’ve been told that the cysts on my ovaries have gone and with the appropriate support from the EPU and mental health teams there is no medical reason why DP and I shouldn’t go onto have as many healthy pregnancies as we wish in the future.
I’m so happy and overwhelmed and I just want to thank you all so much for all you support over the last couple of years.
It’s really been life changing and I cannot thank you enough.
❤️

Hi Flipflopflipflap, I am new to posting here, but didn’t want to read & run. My SD after my first grandson was born had postpartum psychosis, but with a lot of help & some meds she went on to recover & then fell pregnant again in 2016, panic set in with her in case this happened again, but she was seen by a special MH midwife team all the way through her pregnancy & put back on some meds to help her, she had our granddaughter that year & everything was well. I just wanted to let you know of a positive outcome after pregnancy related psychosis xx
