Ltb over unreasonable reaction to losing at a board game (light hearted)

So everytime I let him talk me into playing this bloody game again and everytime I beat him and every single fucking time he has a tantrum over it. He's currently upstairs sulking now. Anyone else's partners have unreasonable reactions to losing at board games or do I need to LTB?

Honestly, an adult who sulks upstairs when beaten over a board games is a bit of a tit.

I mean it's fine if it's Uno because those plus fours are a bitch

There's still a mark on my lounge wall where my abusive ExP threw the Risk board against the wall when he thought I was ganging up on him with his friend. I'd never played it before and the silly thing was, I genuinely wasn't. Glad those days are over!

When my DH does a little sulk, it's light-hearted and adorable. I can raise a smile by taking the piss and all's well again. I hope it's more towards this type of sulk than the first one above.

I have a DC who is obsessed with board games. They beg and plead with the rest of the family to play with them, and then if they lose they storm off in a strop and sulk for hours. Then they can't understand why everyone is reluctant to play next time.

One of my siblings is like this - such a bad loser. Always an excuse and always in a foul mood after they have lost. They try to pretend now that they are just joking about it because they have been ribbed so much about it in the past, but the atmosphere is still horrible and the PA remarks and little jibes that go on for days are unpleasant for everyone.

They also gloat all over Facebook (and in person) when they win, with photos of the winning board etc. They do this no matter who they are playing against - even when playing against small children like their nieces and nephews.

We no longer play games with them and they are used as the warning for our DC - at the first sign of moodiness or stroppiness in a game they are told: "if you start acting like X you won't be allowed to play."

Yes he was behaving like a toddler and a tit! I said that. He knows.

No he's not the throwing the board across the room type (my grandad was like that everyone was terrified to beat him at monopoly)

We always teach the children if they start being stroppy about losing they can't play. They're not too bad.

The game was Scrabble. I always win. The weird thing is, he always wants to play again even though he keeps losing and getting annoyed about it. It's like his Everest.

He's fine now. Bloody ridiculous man

My friends husband threw a paddy because I bought Park Lane and Mayfair during a game of monopoly and he always buys them! He actually chucked his money and stomped off like a toddler.
It would have been funny if he wasn't such an abusive bastard to my poor friend who he actually hit once I'd gone home because she didn't stick up for him and make me give them to him!

Oh dear! Monopoly is the worst, I always think it brings out the worst in people. Also it goes on for aaages.

That's terrible raspberry. I do think that kind of behaviour is a massive red flag, I'm pretty sure my grandad was very controlling and nasty to my nan before she made him leave (and got a new lease of life after 40 years of putting up with him!)

My sister throws a wobbly if someone else buys Park Lane or Mayfair. They are "hers".
Don't really play monopoly with my family any more. We either ended up with an impasse or a paddy.
We also have the infamous Balderdash Incident. Four hours we were playing that game. Four. Long. Hours.
DH won't play me at Worms any more. I always win.

I'm not really friends with her anymore after she smugly went on about how she was still married and I wasn't just after I separated from my husband.
