To ask how to make family life a little less stressful?

We have two DC (3 and 10 months). DS has not been the easiest... reflux, doesn't nap and has to be held constantly and DD, although well behaved, is going through the threenager stage.
Life just seems very stressful since we had DS... the house is constantly very untidy, getting of the house is stressful and we don't go a day where someone isn't shouting or crying. Add lack of sleep on top and it's basically chaos. I see of these familys out and about with 2+ DC and they all look so relaxed and having a lovely time. What are we doing wrong?

Just because they look happy and relaxed doesn't mean they aren't screaming on the inside. Life is hard with little ones, everyone is just trying to muddle through.

You aren't doing anything wrong. Other peoples families are not always as they seem. You may need a bit of extra support from family, friends and maybe health professionals. If you don't have family who would help with a bit of childcare, talk to your health visitor about Sure Start, many areas have schemes where mothers support other mother, Homestart.
A baby with reflux is exhausting. I am assuming he eats family foods now and hopefully drinks from a cup. Often things improve once they are off milk/formula.(Compensate for the lack of milk by offering calcium rich foods, cheese and yoghurt) Lack of sleep is the killer, you need to work out a way of having a few hours break and having a sleep

I had a baby couldn't put down
Put him in sling so I cd do things . It helped . However he too didn't sleep - woke every hour - sleep deprivation is hellish . I would go to sleep / rest when dh came home then take over again . Hope things improve - they will am sure .
