AIBU to think that Jet's parents had the right idea?

Jet is one of the girls on the secret life of 5 year olds.

Her mother said that she had thought that Jet was not happy with being a girl when she was younger but that now Jet realised that she could do whatever she wanted regardless of whether she was a girl or boy.

Bravo that woman, no need for pushing down the transgender route but teaching that gender is irrelevant when it comes to personal ambition and activities.

I suppose it depends if you would have thought the same if Jet had decided that, in spite of her parents successfully modelling that anyone can do anything, she wanted to be a boy.

Not at 5, no. Longer term, it'd be her choice - not her parents.
