So Sunday had some family and friends over for lunch, like an afternoon tea style. A coat was left at the end of the day, wasn't sure who's coat it was and as there was about 30 people here I thought I would wait for a message to say "hi have I left my coat at yours?". So said message came about an hour later. It was my cousin. Arranged to come and collect it the next day, then she said this "oh I thought you would have at least washed it?".

Am I being unreasonable in thinking why the hell would I wash somebody's coat unless I had borrowed it and worn it?

How weird. I get my coat dry cleaned once a year and that's it! Even if I borrowed a coat from a friend I probably wouldn't wash it unless it had got dirty.

Is she generally a bit weird / socially inept?

She was joking definitely!

YANBU, is that the done thing for some people? Leave clothes places and they get washed? I would take a small pile of laundry when you next visit her! Grin
