People learning to read and then getting upset to discover Elmlea isn’t cream

AIBU to be annoyed by them???

It’s written on the packet. I can’t really understand why people are so annoyed. “I bought this cream substitute by accident and it was shit” seems like fairly average stuff. Getting angry about it seems odd; having consumed enough of it while not liking it that you feel aggrieved is just WTAF territory.

Oh look, the anti-dairy lobby has turned up. Surprised it took them so long.

Well as Elmlea is made from buttermilk, it's not dairy free either, so hardly a virtuous alternative to cream.

It's like picking up a can of Whiskas and thinking there's a cat in there because there's a picture of one on the front

Grin Reminds me of how I used to think Cat Milk was milk from cats rather than milk for cats.

I'd quite like singing Elmlea. It still wouldn't make me buy it though. Actually, we rarely eat cream, except in a korma.

I am the most easy-going person I know. In my 50 odd years on this planet, I can count on one hand how many times I've lost my temper. One of them was down to Elmlea.

I knew it wasn't real cream but it was all they had in the shop and it says it can be whipped. It can't. However, much like real cream, it's a bugger to get off the walls.
