To think Black 47 will be a very important film?

It's been a long time coming that the plight of the Irish would be brought to the big screen. Such a fundamental part of the Irish history yet people have been scared to touch it for years. I'm very excited for its release here.

That looks fantastic, but I wish there were better trailers for it. This post is the first I've heard of the film, and yes - it's a very important period in our history that is glossed over, or completely unspoken of, today.

I know astounded I only heard about it this morning from an article on fb. There should be a lot more advertisement. I expect there'll be quite a few tears in the cinema (namely from me)
