I'll come out in support of Red Dwarf (well, series 1 - 4 anyway, basically any episode with the Holly Hop Drive in it either Hattie Hayridge or Norman Lovett. Admittedly it did go downhill then seriously downhill as they obviously ran out of ideas) I also come out in support of Take me Out, Dating in the Dark, Two Broke Girls and Will & Grace both the original and current series. Big Bang Theory was good until they ran out of ideas and were getting desperate and it just became about individual characters.
The Undateables. Love it. It doesn't mock peoples disabilities and if it encourages other people with similar disadvantages to get on the dating scene then I say good.
(Bring back, 'Sexy Beasts' that what I say. Ordinary people wearing stage and special effects make up on their face only to look like a bumble bee or a space alien etc. When they have got to know each other the big reveal is to see them without all the make up on their face.)
However, you can keep the rest as I agree they were/are all awful.
Loose Women - does Colleen Nolan realise how awful and stupid she comes across ?
Peaky Blinders - nah, gimme the first two series of Ripper Street any day.
Miranda and Mrs Browns Boys. I was living overseas at the time and just grateful for t.v. in British/Irish accent. They were both 'suspend your disbelief' t.v. shows. Brendan O'Carroll is the real gobshite. He admitted it's meant to be easy/simple. He couldn't care less, he's laughing all the way to the bank and has lived in America for over twenty years.
