And why
I have two
Wimbledon - so bad my maths teacher turned it off after 5 minutes
Angus thongs and perfect snogging - just girls chasing boys - worst plot line ever

Legally Blond II. The first one was funny, but the second one was probably one of the worst sequels ever. I made the unforgivable mistake of persuading my DH to take me to watch it at the cinema. He refused to watch any 'chick flicks' at the cinema again after that. (I wasn't impressed myself with that particular 'chick flick'. Grin)

Hushnownobodycares · 02/12/2018 20:53

YY to the Mad Max remake. Unremittingly unwatchable shite. Not a patch on the original. Likewise the Alien prequels Prometheus and whatever the latest was called.
I was silently screaming at the screen at the fool who despite presumably having the benefit of hundreds of years of space films and TV series behind him still thought petting an alien snake couldn't possibly go wrong Grin

The80sweregreat · 02/12/2018 21:07

Sisters. Awful film.

ASlowRegardOfSilentThings · 02/12/2018 21:11

Confetti

Qubus · 02/12/2018 21:14

Another vote for Love Actually here.

Also the Robin Hood film that is at the cinema at the moment, just no.

Livpool · 02/12/2018 21:15

Hatchi - just because I cried and cried. I won't watch it again, it was just too sad 😢

Monkeynuts18 · 02/12/2018 21:20

The Holiday. Unwatchable.

BoooForYou · 02/12/2018 21:24

Birdman

How that won an Oscar I will never know. DH and I put it on, rare night off from the DCs. It was DHs choice.
After 20 minutes of it, he started saying "give it a go, it's only just starting, it will make sense"
He proceeded to say this until 10 minutes from the end. Then even he had to admit it was terrible. I've banned him from picking films from then on Wink

GabsAlot · 02/12/2018 21:53

@lizzie48 i hear theyre making a third film!

QueenDoris · 02/12/2018 22:05

Citizen Kane. All that fuss over a fucking sled

Milliy · 02/12/2018 22:14

Seven Pounds with Will Smith...sad

Lizzie48 · 02/12/2018 22:20

@GabsAlot

I think it's fair to say I won't be looking to watch that at the cinema and my DH can rest easy that I won't be watching it on the TV at home either!! Grin

Metalhead · 02/12/2018 22:24

Snow sharks. Need I say more?! (The CGI was absolutely dreadful!)

Toddlerteaplease · 02/12/2018 22:28

Can't remember the name but it was about a bloke with narcolepsy. Two hours of my life wasted. No storey line.

WithAllIntenseAndPurposes · 02/12/2018 22:29

an utter shite film called Arlington Drive
I can't remember anyone in it or what happened as it was dire
Also was freezing cold in there was hungover and on a date with a hideous guy after the beer goggles had fallen off

Lizzie48 · 02/12/2018 22:33

The Star Wars prequels. Well, 'Revenge of the Situ' wasn't quite so bad but the first two were dire.

WhentheRabbitsWentWild · 02/12/2018 22:35

Haha Same with Solaris . At one point in time, on a long ago AOL chat room, me and an American chap agreed to disagree as he loved it .

Being There (Bored me senseless)
Frozen (Just . never again)
Dune (I try to understand it but never quite get it)
Blue Velvet (very odd , perhaps if one was high it is understandable)

User1983 · 02/12/2018 22:37

Tree of life

onthenaughtystepagain · 02/12/2018 22:39

Titanic, I was so bored with it.

Roomba · 02/12/2018 22:39

Showgirls. It was about 2.5 hours too long and absolutely ridiculous!

Weetabixandshreddies · 02/12/2018 22:41

Jacobs Ladder. 4 of us went to see it and none of us had a clue what it was about.

Oopsusernamealreadytaken · 02/12/2018 22:43

Downsizing. It was the oddest, most disjointed film I’ve ever watched 🤔

Serin · 02/12/2018 22:45

The fox and the child.

Marley and me was dire too.

MsTSwift · 02/12/2018 22:45

Tinker tailor soldier spy. Saw at cinema grey men talking so dull

Sunhill4 · 02/12/2018 22:57

Harry Hill & Mrs Browns movies. Love both on tv but did not equate to the big screen!
