Pretty Woman. An hour and 40 mins of utter boredom.

Bridesmaids - utter shite.
All the Star Wars films- I don’t get why people get so excited by them, they’re crap.
A spoof of 300 - gave up 10 minutes in.

Jeepers Creepers - it was shockingly awful.

This is going to be really unpopular but I absolutely detest Dirty Dancing. It makes me feel ill.

I also can’t watch any of the ace Ventura films, or daft slapstick like Scary Movie.

Against my better judgment I did think Run for your Wife was hilarious 😂 if you have nothing better to do for 90mins I would suggest watching that I think it’s still on Netflix

Dances with Wolves - 3 hours of my life I'll never get back Even though it was years ago I watched it in the cinema I still remember the feeling of horrifying boredom. These days I'd just walk out, but all those years ago I just sat through it, more fool me!

King Kong. Walked out of the cinema after 30 mins and got a refund and a lollipop.
Gravity. Utter piece of wank. She’s supposed to be an astronaut yet is simpering wimp. Walked out of that film.

But the worst for me by a long way was Indiana Jones and the crystal skull. 😡
This film killed the franchise and when I watched it I went home fuming, and went to bed angry. I woke up the next day still angry and spent days telling anyone who would listen how “wrong” it was and the many reasons why it was shit. This prob means nothing unless you grew up watching the other Indiana films but it still makes my blood boil.

Recently - Their Finest absolutely no sense of the feeling of war time. Ghastly plot line with appallingly annoying, stupid twist. Gemma Arterton has nothing about her, she didn't look or act like a woman of war time. She's just got a pretty face. Gah! So bad.

I refuse to watch any Oscar winning film. I have tried in the past and come to the conclusion they are all of a certain type of film.

Too many shots of scenery or trying to be clever with lighting.

Mind you I like those films with lots of bullets and a car chase or 3 so not really Oscar material

But I loved Dances With Wolves. An epic. And the music [swoons]. Regularly rewatch it.

I think it was called A Serbian Film -at any rate, it was a film from Serbia. About a guy tricked into the porn industry. It got sick. At the end he and his mate are blindfolded. He mate was fucking the other's wife and he was fucking his own daughter. Then they got killed. The end!

The Colour Purple. So boring and so long

And having read the thread I add my vote to The Hobbit (also fell asleep in it) and Anna Karenina with KK.
But loved The English Patient (haven't read the book and took it on holiday but didn't get around to it) and Atonement (where I have read the book and still loved the film ... maybe because I love Saorsie Ronan).

Although I admit that he has done a lot of absolute turds, I reject this statement as Con Air is one of the greatest films ever made! 8mm and True Romance are also both fantastic.

We watched a Nicholas Cage film recently which I think was called Inconceivable. It was utter wank. It's frankly inconceivable that he's had such a successful career tbh.

Nicholas Cage is the best overactor there is. Moonstruck is A masterpiece.

There's so many shit films, mostly chosen by DH, I don't know where to begin. If it's three hours long, is historically inaccurate, has aliens/ninjas/samurai etc then he will love it.
