And why
I have two
Wimbledon - so bad my maths teacher turned it off after 5 minutes
Angus thongs and perfect snogging - just girls chasing boys - worst plot line ever

OP posts:

2 recent films I've watched on nowtv that were total rubbish are Locked In and The shallows.

Locked In - a lady who is locked out of her car in the dessert while her child is locked inside.

The shallows - female surfer stuck on a rock avoiding a shark.

RedDogsBeg · 17/02/2018 23:15

The absolute worst and I can't believe I stuck it out to the end in the vain hope it would improve is:

ALL IS LOST WITH ROBERT REDFORD - THERE IS NO DIALOGUE AT ALL IN THIS PILE OF PRETENTIOUS CRAP.

I think it tried to be all sort of arty, it has gone into family legend though as the benchmark for where a film falls on the crap-o-meter.

Bridesmaids - I didn't find it funny at all, just cringeworthy

Oness that I just gave up on:

Pearl Harbour - gave up about 40 minutes in due to the appalling acting
Black Hawk Down - gave up after about 30 minutes
Australia - 10 minutes was more than enough for that pile of crap

LemonysSnicket · 17/02/2018 23:15

@Kraggle was it Lesbian Vampire Hunters? Ridiculous film.

Namechanger124 · 17/02/2018 23:17

Curlyshabtree · 17/02/2018 23:17

Notting bloody Hill

Whiterabbitears · 17/02/2018 23:19

Sliding Doors, me and DH left the cinema half way through.

A River Runs Through It - boring!

Star Wars - all of them, its just a noisy racket.

I also have no patience with The Matrix either.

moofolk · 17/02/2018 23:20

The new blade runner film.

Managed to be simultaneously both physiologically painful and mind numbingly boring. Terrible, overly loud soundtrack, every female character cliche going, everyone in the film is horrible and miserable, and it's really, really, really long.

UpstartCrow · 17/02/2018 23:22

Angela's Ashes.

yummycake123 · 17/02/2018 23:23

The Holiday.

thisismadness77 · 17/02/2018 23:23

Ted

IntelligentYetIndecisive · 17/02/2018 23:24

Sex Lives of the Potato Men

OwlinaTree · 17/02/2018 23:24

Oh Australia... We got up and thought it had finished, then it went on for like another hour!

Whiterabbitears · 17/02/2018 23:31

Broke Back Mountain, really underwhelming.

Bridget Jones Baby, not funny and a big let down, no Daniel Cleaver and Bridget has a totally different face!

Lucie8881 · 17/02/2018 23:32

Meet Joe Black - unbelievably dull, nothing seems to happen ... slowly.

The Royal Tenenbaums - not funny in the slightest

AI - it was the ending that really did it for me with that one.

Interstellar - another boring film

rainbowcakes · 17/02/2018 23:45

The Keith Lemon Movie.

Obviously it was never going to be amazing but it was just unbelievably shite. I cant even put it into words. So cringey it was toe curling. People were walking out of the cinema (i wish i had)!

I believe it is one of the worst rated films of all time on Rotten Tomatoes....ie 0%.

Makes me rage/cringe just thinking about it Angry urgh!

Doobedoobedoobedoobedoobe · 17/02/2018 23:50

Dirty Dancing

Skarossinkplunger · 17/02/2018 23:55

Seawitchly my (male) best friend says I have a gaping black hole where my heart should be based on the fact I hate Live Actually.

In you, I have found my people.

LipstickHandbagCoffee · 17/02/2018 23:55

Dirty dancing is a toilet brush of a movie

Pinkvoid · 17/02/2018 23:56

Torn between Alien and LOTR. Forced to watch both by my loving DP Grin, hated every second.

Baubletrouble43 · 17/02/2018 23:58

Closer
What a load of pretentious tosh
carol
Boring and so overrated

RustyBear · 18/02/2018 00:00

Plan 9 from Outer Space.

Advertised as ‘Bela Lugosi’s last film’, he was actually dead before filming started, so the director interspersed footage of him from an unfinished film with appearances by his wife’s chiropractor, who was six inches taller and looked nothing like Lugosi, so had to spend all his scenes hunched over with his cloak over his face.

It’s supposed to be one of those ‘so bad it’s good’ films, but actually it’s just crap.

Zazu44 · 18/02/2018 00:00

Dunkirk

StorminaBcup · 18/02/2018 00:03

Tree of Life (snore fest of boring narrative and hazy cinematography featuring Brad Pitt. It was winner of the Palm D’or)

Anchorman 2 - most unnecessary sequel ever

Dirty dancing - I rewatched this recently and it made me cringe so much I had to turn it off.

IntelligentYetIndecisive · 18/02/2018 00:03

Meet Joe Black was grim, but
