Self ID comes in,, biological women are in male prisons.

What is to stop pimps insisting the women ID as male and continue earning for them inside?

I think this will just add a revenue source that was closed off before, we know they have little trouble dealing drugs in prisons.

I'm a bit confused... there isn't a lot of money to be earned in prison, just trade in kind. The pimp won't be in there with them. Maybe I'm naive, but I can't see it being a massive problem.

They have mobile phones readily available and now with drones and drugs that are undetectable they can get the gear in and sell it.

I am vehemently against the self-ID proposal but I think this is very far fetched and doesn't help the argument that opponents to this are being hysterical. Who will these women ID-ing as men be forced to have sex with? Other women? Why would a woman want to have sex with a woman self ID-ing as a man unless they were a lesbian so they could have done so anyway? If you're talking about self ID-ing to be transferred to a male prison, how would the pimp be able to control where she goes and how would he get the money or contraband back? Unless I've got confused by your OP?

Dinosaurs if the woman is leaving kids and family on the outside it would be simple leverage.

I know of two families who have members in prison (longish terms) who regularly get a drug dealer collecting the prison debt (if they don't pay prisoner gets hurt) so I can guess how it'd work.

The pimp forces the woman to commit a crime bad enough to land her in jail. The woman is then forced to say she self identifies as male. The woman makes it all the way through the criminal justice system without ever asking for help or raising the defence that she was forced into committing aforementioned crime and is then found / pleads guilty. The pimps associate in prison then gets hold of her once she's inside and she spends her prison sentence being raped - and the pimps profit.... not quite clear how the prisoners pay if they have no or very little money...

Here's my train.
A man in woman's prison can rape so is a bad idea.
Woman in man's prison is not much danger but can be exploited.

Woman gets time for whatever reason.
Pimp or gang threaten unless she id's family get hurt.
The gang's run very smoothly inside (currency isn't always money) she could be used to pay a debt or as payment for favours.

Can that be prevented?

Bonnie and Clyde style villains get caught. Woman ids as male to be put into prison with her lover. They serve out their sentence together overcoming lots of hurdles and hilarious misunderstandings until the true moral of life becomes clear to them and they become reformed characters who save the whole prison or some such schmaltziness.

May seem far fetched but anything is possible. With trafficking the trafficked women are treated appallingly by the authorities in many countries. So is it really that hard to believe that they wouldnt ask for help espescially with famiky being lwvwraged and threatened.

Criminal gangs will always look for more ways to make money and trafficking is one of them and mens prisons a previously untapped source.

I see where you're coming from OP, and there is money in prisons. an A4 sheet of paper sprayed with spice goes for hundreds, a mobile phone £500 up depending on make and now there's a smoking ban there's money being made from tobacco and cigarettes so not unthinkable that some would find a way to get women in there with self-ID.

Code a family we know has a son inside doing 4 years for stealing money from his company.
They are a respectable family (both work prof jobs at nhs) other kids are sorted.
In eight months their son's drug bill has cost £2000 and now it's £500 a time.
They have mobile footage of him being beaten up in jail so every two weeks they pay the dealer.

They'd rather pay and can pay but the loop hole is there.
