It's 8:49pm, I'm getting a cold, I've a terrible headache, I've been tired all day, DH is on nights so I get a mug size all to myself! DC's both fast asleep.

I'm usually an 11pm kind of person, is it too early to go to bed?

Assuming you are a grown adult.....go to bed whenever you feel like!

No need for an excuse.

BreakfastAtSquiffanys · 15/02/2018 20:52

I'm currently clock watching intending to go to bed at 9pm

SaskaTchewan · 15/02/2018 20:53

Yes, according to my kids.

Of course not, according to the rest of the world. Since when are there any rules about the time a grown-up goes to bed? You are tired, go to sleep. it's a luxury if you can go to bed when you need to

Flomy · 15/02/2018 20:54

Its late! DD goes at 19.00,.Im usually in bed a few minutes after her.

Hot water bottle, Electric blanket & T.V. I love not having to climb the stairs when Im exhausted!

SunnySeaShell · 15/02/2018 20:54

I'm not far off 40 so definitely old enough to make my own decision! It just seems so early and a bit decadent!!

Im in bed already. Electric blanket, telly...

It’s never too early if you’re ready.

toomuchlikehardwork · 15/02/2018 20:54

Tbh it's never too early to go to bed. Hubby and I would have gone up an hour ago (currently 8.50pm) but we're waiting for someone to FaceTime us from New Zealand! Had a lovely nap whilst waiting.

ChristmasAccountant · 15/02/2018 20:55

I've been in bed a while already!

SunnySeaShell · 15/02/2018 20:55

Right, I'll hang out the washing and then I'm going!

I often go to bed at 8pm with my youngest! I leave the older two teenagers to switch off and go to bed themselves later Smile

Awwlookatmybabyspider · 15/02/2018 20:56

Definitely not, no. I was in bed and few weeks back at 5 pm and i snored until 11am the next day, and felt as fresh as a daisy. Sometimes you just need a really long sleep.

helpfulperson · 15/02/2018 20:57

Just about to head off. It's never too early for bed.

PerfectlySymmetricalButtocks · 15/02/2018 20:57

I'm wondering that as well, because the DC are away until tomorrow and I've been wide awake until 1am since they've been gone. No DC to run after!

Butterymuffin · 15/02/2018 21:01

So be decadent! I keep meaning to go to bed early and fall asleep tucked up watching Netflix on my tablet, but somehow I end up doing 'just' a few more things and going to bed late. Learn from my mistakes!

CakeNinja · 15/02/2018 21:01

Dp regularly puts ds to bed at 7:30 and slopes off to bed! But he puts films on and chills out up there, not exactly ‘going to bed’.
Go when you want!

SunnySeaShell · 15/02/2018 21:03

Argh! Washing machine not finished, think I'll just leave that until the morning and go up!

OP posts:
thepatchworkcat · 15/02/2018 21:06

I’m in bed! I am pregnant though so that’s my excuse...

kaytee87 · 15/02/2018 21:11

I'm in bed, regularly in bed at 9 and never later than 10.

halfwitpicker · 15/02/2018 21:12

No.

booksandcoffee · 15/02/2018 21:18

Spot on time to go to bed.

NotACleverName · 15/02/2018 21:20

It's never too early to go to bed.

Charley50 · 15/02/2018 21:30

I love love love going to bed early. In fact I think I'll go now, just need the electric blanket to warm the bed up.

SunnySeaShell · 15/02/2018 21:35

I'm in!! I did wait for the washing machine to finish & hung it out, and emptied the dishwasher, but now I'm in bed, albeit with the news on but far earlier than I would normally be, it's lovely!
