AIBU to ask if ‘Stranger Things’ on Netflix..

...is scary? My dd (14) wants me to watch it with her but I’m a massive nappy baby scaredy cat and don’t want to get spooked! So is it relatively tame or really scary?

I didn’t rate it either.

Stranger things is brilliant! I can't stand horror and I'm a total wuss. I did hide behind a cushion a few times but it was so good!

My (under 15) children loved it. I and they didn't think it was scary, more tense, and some of the content was unsettling. It's a 15 along the lines of Gremlins (now 12A, but was 15 until recently).

I’m a total chicken shit but really loved both series’s. Creepy in parts but could watch it on my own. Totally fine for a 14 year old.

I really enjoyed season 1 and I’m a wimp. However, I rapidly lost interest in season 2 and didn’t finish it.

Couldn’t care less about the older teenagers, and they were in it too much. Nothing much happening in the rest in the first 3 episodes. Plenty of god stuff on that doesn’t require me to invest so much time in it before payback, blackchina

Not scary, a bit creepy... but then maybe not the best person to ask as I live for horror and watch all sorts. But stranger things I awesome so give it a go I guarantee you’ll be hooked 😊
