To be pissed off with my neighbour and his fucking trumpet

I live in a flat and the guy upstairs plays the trumpet as soon as he gets home from work most days and on weekends. He plays it for an hour, but sometimes will play it a few times a day on the weekend. It's so fucking annoying and I want to ram it up his arse. Why can't he learn to play the harp instead? If I have to hear Star wars or the ET theme tune again I will fucking scream. AIBU?

Oh annoying!! But I think if it’s only an hour a day at reasonable times I’m not sure how much luck you’d have disputing it - can you whack the telly up or put one some fun music to drown him out?

Knock and ask him if he takes requests.

We had a guy who used to play the bagpipes in the garden at weekends. A trumpet would have been light relief.
