Trout. Fucking vile.

Avocado. Slimy green turd with a massive carbon footprint. The smug vegans go pn about how environmentally.friendly they are yet their avocado is ecologically unsound

BertieBotts · 10/02/2018 00:26

Defo oysters.
Cheese in any form. Especially stinky cheese.
Any canned product with meat in - just why? Corned beef is excepted, but I much prefer sliced. Once I made myself try a chicken in white sauce from a can and the texture of the chicken was like something from a hellworld.
That gross chinese fruit which is supposed to smell like rotting meat.

Actually pretty much anything with a bad smell. Except smoked mackerel, which I love.

BertieBotts · 10/02/2018 00:27

Eggs seem like a horrible idea but are actually too delicious not to eat.

fedupandsickofeverything · 10/02/2018 00:27

Cheese and mayonnaise together on a sandwich, just turns my stomach

BertieBotts · 10/02/2018 00:28

And there are several vegetables which should also never be canned. White asparagus is my particular nemesis. Germans put it in everything.

HappyLollipop · 10/02/2018 00:29

Ketchup, I hate the stuff.

lilabet2 · 10/02/2018 00:31

Cheesecake (cheese + cake- really?)

Dark chocolate bars containing fruit

Black forest gateau- yeuck!

Mussels- why put yourself at risk of food poisoning if you don't have to?

Blue cheese and extra mature cheeses

Tripe, offal

Prawns, lobster, crab

Celery

Goats milk.

Broccoli, cabbage

Cauliflower

Courgettes

Cream, full fat milk.

Vegan cheese. First time I ever threw up in the kitchen bin.

ChinkChink · 10/02/2018 00:35

Liver. Cheese. Beetroot. Shellfish. Yoghurt.

And while I'm on - garlic, chilli, anything HOTT

Yours truly

Ms Bland

ChinkChink · 10/02/2018 00:35

And curry. And anything Italian.

Soz etc

Weezol · 10/02/2018 00:47

Absolute top of the list. I'd have to be on the point of collapse from starvation: Cabbage, leafy greens, sprouts and that whole vile type of vegetable. Was forced to eat them as a kid even though I'd gyp and choke trying to get them down.

Onions. Especially covert onions in things that shouldn't have onions in. Quiche Lorraine should not have onions in it. It seems only the French, me, Morrison's and M&S know this.

The rest are about texture rather than taste. I will eat them in other formats:
Dessicated coconut
Whole tomatoes
Oranges, tangerines and the like
Whole strawberries, raspberries etc
Overcooked rice

Chicken on the bone, wings, legs. Too much work for too little reward. I refuse to fight with my food.

Cuppaqueen · 10/02/2018 00:50

Wow, lots of fussy eaters on MN Grin

A plate of old-fashioned boiled white cabbage turns my stomach - something about the smell?! I'm not keen on shellfish like oysters and mussels although I'd eat them in a sauce with fish, for example. Prefer not to eat raw coriander or Markite/Vegemite. Tend to only eat offal in really good restaurants that know how to cook it. Otherwise, I pretty much eat everything.

LOVE snails, liquorice, black pudding and many other things mentioned on this thread

malterbitty · 10/02/2018 01:04

Celery! I'd sooner drink toilet water.

TarragonChicken · 10/02/2018 01:25

Most of these I love!

Fake pre-grated Parmesan is pretty grim though and I've never had tripe or tongue.

I can see the argument against highly processed sausages etc, but it wouldn't stop me eating them.

Maddiemademe · 10/02/2018 06:56

Calamari, squid, olives, sweetcorn, mushrooms, coffee 🤢

brizzledrizzle · 10/02/2018 07:17

Sausages of any type
Mushrooms
Bovril
Fish with faces
Meat that I have to cut up
Kidneys
Yoghurt
Eggs

MrsMcW · 10/02/2018 07:23

Tinned tuna. It both looks and smells like cat food.

Itchytights · 10/02/2018 07:32

Celery is fucking disgusting.

Sprouts too.

Bleuuuuuuurgh

SoFancy · 10/02/2018 07:43

Doner kebabs. That greasy, fatty, cheap meat rotating for unknown days and weeks in its own smelly fat. Repulsive.

whoareyoukidding · 10/02/2018 07:47

Hard boiled eggs. My colleague sometimes eats them for lunch at work, and the smell and the thought of the texture and taste bring vomit right to the top of my throat. But I don't like to mention it to her.

ivykaty44 · 10/02/2018 07:48

Macdonalds just tastes like I’d imagine regurgitated food would taste, tried it disgusting

SugarPlumFerry · 10/02/2018 07:59

This is a thread where people are basically listing my favourite foods. Except:

Organs (unless they're ground up in a haggis - yum).
Black pudding. The taste and texture of a wet scab. Envy

SleepingInYourFlowerbed · 10/02/2018 08:02

This thread is making me really hungry Grin

LemonShark · 10/02/2018 08:04

Eggs in any form, but especially sandwiches.

Tuna.

Cows (or any other animal) milk.

Genuinely get the gag feeling when I think about how anyone can put those things in their mouths :/
