Who parks this close?!

Just been out to my wheelie bin, and noticed the neighbour from two doors up has parked this close to me!
There's nothing behind her, just the corner of the road as I am the end house.
Am I being confrontational to knock her door and pretend I need to go out, even though I don't just to inconvenience her for her twattish parking?!

Who parks this close?!

Awww your cars are almost kissing...but it sounds unwanted so tell her that her car needs to stop sexually harassing yours

Pmsl at ^this

It does look a bit aggressive to me...and totally unnecessary!

Give it a good nudge and set the alarm off. What a silly woman.
Why do people get all territorial around parking spaces? Real world problems Confused

Duchessgummybuns · 08/02/2018 20:21

If someone parks that close it probably means they have hit your car...

TheHodgeoftheHedge · 08/02/2018 20:22

This is how everyone seems to park in Paris ;)

Badwifey · 08/02/2018 20:23

My mams neighbour used to do this all the time if someone was parked across our gate. He did it to intentionally block people in. Have you done anything that could have upset her? Have any of your friends or visitors blocked her drive or anything?

Oblomov18 · 08/02/2018 20:25

This is really bad. Does she honestly think this is ok?

WeaselsRising · 08/02/2018 20:26

What an idiot.

Every day after Ndn has left for school a commuter turns up and parks in their space. Without fail they just reverse back until they are 3 or 4 inches from my bumper. There's about 1/2 a car length in front of them so I really don't get it.

Unfortunately it's a different one every day so not worth leaving a note.

Surely someone who's hit the car is more likely to park elsewhere as though they've done nothing rather than stay parked nose to nose?

Someone used to do that to me, then one day as she drove off she scraped my car with hers. Oddly, she came straight back, and when I went out to talk to her (as I had seen her do it), she totally denied it, until I told her I’d just seen her do it, and pointed out the scratches. I took photos and rang my insurance company and she ended up taking full liability. It was a tiny scratch but cost a hell of a lot to repair! Needless to say she never parked anywhere near me again, so it was worth it really! Some people are just complete twats!

Finderscrispy · 08/02/2018 20:32

Is there a shortage of parking near you? Are you parked on ‘her’ front ?

I used to live in a street with limited parking, it used to drive me mad that some people took upto 2 spaces ( leaving huge gap, but not big enough for another car)when they parked up, rather than parking more considerately (closer) which would have meant more people could park in their own street.

I didn’t used to do that, but felt tempted to on occasion.

Tapandgo · 08/02/2018 20:32

I’d ask her to move ~ then when she does, pretend to take a call on my mobile calling me back inside to deal with an emergency.
