AIBU to want to throw a toy car at her

I know IABU but I need to rant.

I'm currently waiting in a side room whilst DS does his activity. DD who is 2 is sat next to me and I can't hear a word she says because a women at the opposite end of the room (about 10 metres long) is talking so fecking loudly. I have a massive headache and she has been talking non stop. Can I throw one of DDs toys at her?

Perfectly reasonable.

Snowydaysarehere · 08/02/2018 16:30

Aim for the forehead.

teaiseverything · 08/02/2018 16:32

Or the shin

elephantelsa · 08/02/2018 16:34

Ughh! Definitely not unreasonable! I can't bear it when you've got a thumping headache and someone nearby has got verbal diarrhoea

sparklepops123 · 08/02/2018 16:36

Just aim for between the eyes 😏

SeaToSki · 08/02/2018 16:37

If you throw at just the right moment, it will get stuck in her large mouth and maybe shut her up

Fitzsimmons · 08/02/2018 16:38

SeaToSki I like your style.

Be sure to wait for her to look away so that you can blame it on your DD.

MachineBee · 08/02/2018 16:44

Sounds like an excellent time for you teach your DD how to bowl overarm. The toy would be a useful prop. Grin

GnotherGnu · 08/02/2018 16:58

Paracetamol?

Or say loudly to DD2 "What did you say? Sorry I couldn't hear, there seem to be some LOUD VOICES IN HERE."
