Why would you stay on the kitchen unit? If I had the lurgy, I’d much rather be on the settee. I bet your OH is laughing, that is pretty ridiculous. My OH would probably say, stop being bloody dramatic and get down you t*!

VladmirsPoutine · 08/02/2018 13:10

Why hasn't the OP been back? Hmm

Is this thread even legitimate?

Tarraleaha · 08/02/2018 13:10

Goodness knows what those of us who live alone would do
Not hide the medication at the very top of a cupboard for a start Grin

I am joking, I am completely with you there!

VladmirsPoutine · 08/02/2018 13:10

And no-one over the age of 10 uses words like 'lugry'.

DeputyBrennan · 08/02/2018 13:10

Bizarre. Thanks for making me feel better about my own abilities in ‘adulting’, though Smile

VladmirsPoutine · 08/02/2018 13:10

lurgy. That should say.

FlippingFoal · 08/02/2018 13:11

Jesus I do wonder how some people even dress themselves in the morning...

Nikephorus · 08/02/2018 13:11

Well thank goodness the debilitating dizziness subsided so you could have a good laugh with dp about it and post coherently on here with your detailed update
Grin Love it.

Katedotness1963 · 08/02/2018 13:12

I'm 4'10", about half the things in my kitchen are out of my reach. Kitchen tongs are wonderful for getting things down from a high shelf.

Haffiana · 08/02/2018 13:12

So you want the whole internet to feel sorry for you as well as yourself?

I'm with your partner on this, I am laughing at you.

maggie222 · 08/02/2018 13:13

Jesus there are some soft arses in this world!!

Sometimes you just need go stop feeling sorry for yourself and get on with it. Your poor DH Hmm

I've had 3 major operations in the past 12 months and was ironing days after my hysterectomy and driving 2 weeks after my kidney transplant. I have to take shit loads of meds which give me the shits and make me constantly dizzy. My OH would piss himself if I asked him to come and fetch me my meds as he wouldn't have a clue where or how. I am an independent women and I have my son to look after!

This has got to be a wind up??

georgeoutside · 08/02/2018 13:14

OP you sound so needy. Is that how you are generally?

Thishatisnotmine · 08/02/2018 13:14

Why did I read all this?!

Springtrolls · 08/02/2018 13:15

When my ex used to do this I used the sweeping brush to get them down.
Surely you have one. Or a vac the tube works just as well. Tape a couple of wooden spoons and other utensils together.

Don’t know why you needed another person.

FuckyNellYaBastad · 08/02/2018 13:15

Blimey

WallaceSimpson · 08/02/2018 13:16

I don't understand

Snacktimonious · 08/02/2018 13:19

Kitchen tongs are wonderful for getting things down from a high shelf

Or you can nudge the thing forward with a spatula and get ready to catch. This is my preferred method.

shakeyourcaboose · 08/02/2018 13:21

Now what would have done the job here would have been a highly trained retriever squirrel! - (next up on hey duggee, the medication badge!)

mrsBeverleyGoldberg · 08/02/2018 13:21

Lucymek · 08/02/2018 13:22

TheViceOfReason · 08/02/2018 13:24

Are you really that bored and is that the best you can come up with?

Antigonads · 08/02/2018 13:25

You poor lamb.

I trust you are safely tucked up in bed now with a hottie and your meds to hand.

MsHarry · 08/02/2018 13:30
