To be completely discombobulated that I can't find my hair dye for sale anywhere?

Just that. Been using Vidal Sassoon 9/0 light neutral blonde for yonks. Roots are awful - can't find any for sale. Previously in Amazon, Boots and Home Bargains. None anywhere. Sad

Last time I tried a different colour it went pink and cost me £££s and hours of my time in a salon to put the mess right.

I'm doomed. Shock

Help me MNetters to find some please - my hair is cryig out for your collective help.

It is thanks! I don't have an ebay account. £15! though, was a fiver before. :-( May have to bite the bullet and choose a new shade/brand?

Superdrug’s own lightest brown is good and neutral

wantmorenow · 07/02/2018 21:19

Would lightest brown be too dark if I'm used to lightest blonde? My hair at the temples is bright white now and the rest a mousy blonde. Used to be ginger once upon a time.

I'm hopeless at this. That's why I stick to the one I knew.

Yes it will be , I realised after I’d posted yours light blonde not brown. But their own brand dyes are fine

Eliza9917 · 07/02/2018 21:24

I tried one from savers for a pound/2 pounds, and it was fantastic, really covered the greys for ages (I find the colour fades rather than its regrowth that needs doing, even though I use perm. dye) but I use black so no issue over the colour.

wantmorenow · 07/02/2018 21:24

Thank you. Should I be looking for another that ends in /0? Some end in /1. I'm sure that means something but no idea what.

I think it's been discontinued OP. I was using the dark brown, the only one I had found to cover my greys really well and not drip all over my bathroom. I paid £10 for a box from Amazon a few months ago but can't find it again Confused

ToadOfSadness · 07/02/2018 21:36

You can buy as a guest on Ebay, no need to sign up.

Tenner here

Lucymek · 07/02/2018 21:40

Morrisons sells your shade though.

Lucymek · 07/02/2018 21:41

For a fiver.

lazydog · 07/02/2018 21:50

I use L'Oreal Excellence Cream in 9.1 (light ash blonde I think?) and people are surprised when they hear that it's a home dye job, not salon. Never had any colouring disasters with that brand/shade and my hair stays in good condition.

wantmorenow · 07/02/2018 21:58

Almost. That's 10/0 not 9/0. The price was spot on though.

Thanks everyone will bite the bullet and try a new brand and pray they don't discontinue, ever, !

I cannot help you but wanted to applaud the use of discombobulated in the title. Great word Grin

wantmorenow · 07/02/2018 22:16

Bottled it - bought from LLoyds. Thanks 2cats2many dearer than usual but the safe option and doesn't require too much thinking or risk of the 'pink'

Thanks everyone - I have delayed choosing a new colour......for now.

Why did you do that when I told you it was a fiver in morrisons Confused

wantmorenow · 08/02/2018 22:41

When i went to their page they didn't have 9/0, five other shades but not that one. No idea why you see it and I don't . Shame though. Would have been ideal. Nearest Morriston is about 25 miles from me but I could have got there.

I have been looking for weeks for my hair dye..... I finally caved due to weeks of long roots and grey and used another brand with no quite the same hue of purple and it has already faded big time in one wash!!!
I am on the hunt for VS London lilac!!!!.... I have been using that shade for over 5 years straight religiously!!!! its what my husband loves and one of the reasons why he became attracted to me when we first started out was that hair color!!! he willlove me without it. but I love it too! i feel like a part of me has just died.. im in panic mode.. anyone else know whats going on with VS? the name brand in while cannot be found in any of the stores around me.
