I have started a new job and been given the extremely important task of going to the shop to get biscuits for the staff room at lunchtime. I want to make a good impression with my taste in biscuits. Please help! (I’ll be getting about 4 packs)

Shortbread, "Horse biscuits" (family recipe), raisin biscuits, hobnobs, jammie dodgers, cinnamon stars, spice biscuits... Pretty much all biscuits, tbh.

Yes, I love biscuits.

I think variety and availability are the key words here - as long as you ensure there's always a choice of, say, four, you'll make yourself very popular.

My biscuit choices went down well, especially the big tin of shortbread. I’ve been accepted!
Also thanks to the PP who reminded me about gypsy creams. They are AMAZING! And also the chocolate leibniz ones drool

Never the rich tea, the are the lowest of all biscuits.

M&S extremely chocolately white chocolate rounds
Chocolate hobnobs
A good cookie (I.e not Maryland)
Chocolate digestive
Shortbread, I always find it soon goes

Much easier to list the ones I don’t love. That list is incredibly short.
Party rings. End.

My favourites biscuits at the moment are Monte Carlos. They are an Australian biscuit but there might be a UK equivalent.

If you really want to win friends and influence people, include something gluten free. You've probably got one or two coeliacs in there. Be kind to them. Smile

They are the best.

Yes, dunking. I only dunk if I’m ill. I live off digestives and cups of tea.
