I have started a new job and been given the extremely important task of going to the shop to get biscuits for the staff room at lunchtime. I want to make a good impression with my taste in biscuits. Please help! (I’ll be getting about 4 packs)

@madison have you ever had the Biscoff in a jar? I could eat it out the jar with a spoon like a dessert. So yummy!

Marks and Spencers Pistachio and Almond ( I think ) cookies.

MadisonAvenue · 07/02/2018 16:23

Purplerain We had a sample of it once and it was amazing but I really really haven't dared to buy a jar, it would last minutes Blush

Tobebythesea · 07/02/2018 16:32

Chocolate hobnobs, custard creams, bourbons and jammie dodgers

Drivemecrazy1974 · 07/02/2018 16:34

Much like Gene Hunt, I do like a Garibaldi! Also partial to a Jaffa Cake or a chocolate digestive.

Drivemecrazy1974 · 07/02/2018 16:36

Ooh and Lemon Puffs - bought some of those a while back for a nostalgia hit and they were yummy....

ToadOfSadness · 07/02/2018 16:40

Nothing made by Fox's they are far too sweet.

Used to be Bourbon, Custard Creams, Chocolate digestives (when chocolate was nice) then pretty much anything, but now am restricted to only buying ones that are not made with palm oil as I refuse to contribute to deforestation and the death of the rain forest animals if I can avoid it. I apologise that this may not assist your search for the perfect biscuit entirely.

Iwillstartagainonmonday · 07/02/2018 16:49

Cadburys shorties.

I don't buy them that often because I'd totally inhale the whole packet. Grin

Agerbilatemycardigan · 07/02/2018 16:51

Anything unfeasibly large with at least an inch thick of chocolate.

Purplerain101 · 07/02/2018 16:59

@toad I used to eat Tunnocks Teacakes by the bucket load until I found out about the palm oil. Same with Nutella :-(

Dark chocolate digestives (salivates), must be eaten chocolate side down SmileBiscuitSmile

CassandraCross · 07/02/2018 17:01

Sounds like you provided a great selection, OP, definite biscuit points for you! Glad to see you went for some non-chocolate option as not everyone can eat chocolate.

FlouncyDoves · 07/02/2018 17:57

4 packs of Lotus biscuits. Otherwise YABVVVU

InToMyHeart · 07/02/2018 17:57

Make sure you get something without chocolate in case someone doesn't like choc! (Weirdos though!) Wink

Chrys2017 · 07/02/2018 18:06

Choco Leibniz, the plain ones
Second this!

MerryMarigold · 07/02/2018 18:20

Chrys, we can be coffee mates!

rogue8 · 07/02/2018 18:24

All Butter Sultana Cookies from M&S - all the other cookies from the same range are pretty good too but these are the best!

Girlsworld92 · 07/02/2018 18:30

I'd go hob nobs, choc digestives, some nice cookies & custard cream or ginger nuts. Nom nom 😋

CanIhavedessertfirst · 07/02/2018 18:45

Malted milks, chocolate fingers and foxes milk chocolate rounds. I think chocolate fingers are always a winner!

TossDaily · 07/02/2018 18:53

ALL OF THEM

octonaught · 07/02/2018 20:34
