Do you tell school if your child is ill or being tested for illness?

Dd is under going some testing at the moment for raised glucose levels and possibly anemia.
She is exhausted and falling asleep as soon as she has eaten. She's not been well at all and I'm aware she is shattered at school.
They are checking regarding diabetes and or anemia and she is having blood tests on top of other testing.

If she was in primary I would absolutely mention it on the way to drop off but what about secondary?

I've no idea who her form teacher is as it has changed several times, they no longer have a school planner.

Wibu to mention it to senco?

I'd tell school.

You could email the main school address and mark it 'For attention of Pastoral care for y8' or whatever.

Yes I would tell the school. If you ring up, the receptionists will know who is best to speak to.
