On GMB this morning, she tells of how she feels sorry for men this year, in an interview about domestic violence victims.

Have skyrocketed peaktrans today. Fuck sake

She is fucking vile, and I loathe her. And she has NO IDEA what it's like growing up as a woman. Silly cow. It sickened me when she said she likes catcalls and whistles and being letched at.

When you have had it constantly, for YEARS from age 12-ish, it's a nightmare. She has NO IDEA what it's like to grow up female. No periods, pregnancies, cystitis, or sexual harassment, and no being passed over for promotion coz you're a woman, no lower pay purely for being a woman, no worried about walking home alone at night.

I wanted to smash the front of the tv in every time her face was on it, and I felt a chill to my bones every time I heard her voice.

All I could think of every time I saw her was this gif. Grin ^

I'm so happy to see so many posters choosing not to use female pronouns for a man. It makes things so much clearer, and stops mucking with one's brain.

But I am even happier that MNHQ are no longer deleting people for using pronouns to reflect sex, as they were a year or so ago. I don't know what or who changed in MN Towers but I am so relieved about it. Mumsnet is starting to feel like a powerful forum for good again.

HelenaDove · 06/02/2018 00:54

Ive just seen a video clip of the interview on GMB

I really admire Karen Ingala Smith. And she barely got a chance to speak.

India saying how sorry she feels that men are getting a hard time when 138 women have died. Hmm

EraArils · 06/02/2018 02:12

I showed the clip to my DH when he got home tonight. The first thing he said was that perpetrators of DV will use this against their partners. You can just imagine men saying "no point on looking for help from Womans aid because I'll just come in and get you, they let anyone in those places now, I don't have to do anything other than say that i'm a woman." Woman will literally have no where else to go....

Actually thats incorrect, the first thing he said was a rude word directed at that hideous creature India 'i'm a wommmmaaaaaan' WillyB

Imagine finding the courage to flee an abusive relationship and looking forward to the safety and peace of mind of a stay at a sanctuary only to be confronted by this nerdist.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/06/Cult-of-Chucky-trailer.jpg

BlackEyedKid · 06/02/2018 09:04

“Just get me under a waterfall in a gold bikini” 🙄🙄🙄

Remind me - has he kept his dick or has he had the full op?

LangCleg · 06/02/2018 09:14

You can identify as trans all you like and you can even go and get medical and surgical interventions. It won't stop you being an obnoxious misogynist and sexist. India is an obnoxious misogynist and sexist. India also rampages about TV studios demonstrating that India's primary personality characteristics are the epitome of narcissistic rage.

I honestly don't think it matters what position you take on trans issues.

We surely, by now, can all agree that India is no friend to women.

BlackEyedKid · 06/02/2018 09:35

I wonder if he ever reads Mumsnet? It would surprise me if he hasn’t; I get the feeling he’s the sort who would Google himself A Lot.

Datun · 06/02/2018 09:40

Ugh.

India Willoughby's affinity lies comprehensively, categorically with MEN.

Which is why this entire issue cannot be talked about as a concept. An idea.

It has to be translated into what actually happens.

What actually happens when a men's rights activist, who can't stand women, is allowed to call themselves one.

Not just allowed, but insists on it.

India repeatedly dares the conversation to question that they are a woman.

'You seem to be implying...are you saying...?', etc.

Because, until now, no one has had the nerve to say yes!

India aligning themself with men, acting like a man, being dominant like a man, and in the same breath claiming that people like her cant possibly be doing that, because they are women.

Claiming that transwomen will back off in a rape crisis centre, when he is going out of his way to dominate the conversation and shut women up.

And why would the situation even arise which would lead a transwoman even thinking oh, perhaps I ought to back off?

India Willoughby is dripping with male self entitlement.

And all the world can see it.

No, India. Women are saying no.

So STFU.

OlennasWimple · 06/02/2018 11:53

To be fair, India isn't a "hulking great man" as a pp said upthread

He's quite slight if this picture of him with Lorraine Kelly is a good indicator

(Man who was uncomfortable being a gay, effeminate man decides he must actually be a woman...?)

Beetlejizz · 06/02/2018 12:19

IW is complaining because someone only has one topic to talk about? That's rich.

iamawoman · 06/02/2018 12:24

Its just a ridiculous position we are in that we are having to debate why its not appropriate for men to work in womens refuges / rape crisis centre. can you imagine what sort of person that would be - either someone who just wants maximum validation for themselves as a woman and fuck what the women think or someone who gets off on womens suffering as do we really think your average man would apply who had no hidden agenda.

velourvoyageur · 06/02/2018 12:43

Grin Grin

bambambini · 06/02/2018 20:32

I thought Willoughby was fairly petite from pics. Surprised they didn’t look so petite in the BB house, especially in the kitchen when towering over some of the women.

DickTERFin · 06/02/2018 21:02

Not that slight compared to Rachel Johnson in this photo. IW looks closer to Shane L's size (minus the muscles) than any of the females.

noeffingidea · 06/02/2018 21:14

Everyone looks tall compared to Wayne Sleep and Ann Widdicombe.

CapnHaddock · 06/02/2018 21:18

Dunno how tall Willoughby is but I'd say average for a bloke - 5'10 ish? He's got a slight build though (see pre transition photo below)

bambambini · 06/02/2018 21:30

I wonder what India was like as Jonathon. Was he always so vain, narcissistic and picky? Hard to imagine a man who looks like a squirrel acting like that. Or is India having a character changing mid life crises. The poor son must be absolutely mortified.

OlennasWimple · 06/02/2018 22:17

Dick - I think that's the way that the chairs are curved round, that makes IW look taller than Rachel

Similar height to Emma Willis in this photo - Emma is 5'6" according to Wikipedia, so I'd guess India at 5'8" ish?

Anyway, my point is that as far as big, muscular MIT go, he isn't one

furcoatnaeknickers · 06/02/2018 22:37

It was a classic display of an overbearing misogynistic man who just wanted to talk about himself and ‘poor men’
Utterly narcissistic and unaware of anything to do with being a woman.

And where are all the posters screeching ‘transphobia’ on this thread?? Has India peak transed the whole of mumsnet?

DontPullThatTubeOut · 07/02/2018 12:49

I wish I was somewhat famous enough to call out his bullshit. I would have no issue with cutting her off and explaining that “yes, she does have a one track mind. Because she is here to talk about one thing you fucking idiot.” I really wish I could be near this dick in person to say what many others feel they can’t. My mouth is sometimes too big for me lol

DickTERFin · 07/02/2018 18:27

YY I agree IW is not some hulking great thing in a dress although my perception of them is that they are a fairly average sized non-muscular male and in no way "sleight" compared to females.

Plus, it's hard to judge height as IW has a terrible stoop. They're going to end up with a witches hump in old age if they don't start pulling out of the waist and stop stooping from the sternum.

Weebo · 07/02/2018 19:42

So India is blocking anyone who questions her accusations that Karen demonising ALL men and trans people on twitter.

The irony is I said she was trying to silence women.

busyboysmum · 07/02/2018 20:52

I'm blocked by IW but I've had no interaction with IW so I'm not entirely sure why TBH.
