To ask to see your mugs

I want a new mug. I like thick mugs for coffee but not tea. I want a mug to make me happy!

I've just bought a job lot of Cath Kidston ones.....these were £5 in the sale. Nice size, not too thick and very dishwasher resilient and DH resilient too!

Go to a TK Maxx and bruise to your heats content. They always have dozens, all different.

You need the moomin ones from arabia Finland. I love them. They make me happy. Great for coffee. Too small for tea.

I have a white mug with 'I'm a TWAT' on the bottom at work (one of my chefs bought it for my Secret Santa) and a massive R2D2 one from Disney at home.
Both are thick mugs. Not helpful. Sorry.

Some PP's have much more sensible suggestions!

What about a nice big glass one. I got these in Wilkinson's, although they don't have them anymore as far as I'm aware. I saw them in Morrison's the other day though.

These are nice from Hema and great value - lovely in real life too!!

I have this one which I bought at London Zoo for £8. There is also a peacock, flamingo and a penguin. I really like it.

Another vote for the wrendale mugs, they are perfect for tea and lovely designs.

I can't be doing with either glass mugs or mugs that are dark blue / black inside - they make the tea look a really strange colour!

How about one like this OP? Seems nice and big, get lots of tea in it (I suspect they have the dimensions mixed up in the description...) I have lots of mugs from M&S, the handles are spacious for those of the bulky-fingered persuasion among us, and the rims don't feel chunky when you guzzle sip daintily

Large, but not silly-large. Thin-edged, but not too delicate. Dishwasherable. Perfect.

LEM, the grumpy old woman one is.bloody fab. Not too thick but with a lovely wide bottom so I can balance it on my leg.
