Aibu. No I'm not but asrrggghh. How do you put up with strips like this.

I am most unreasonable to suggest he tries to look for them and ask if they are in lost property.

They don't have lost property
What am I supposed to do
Tis not my fault
Goooddddd.

Aaaahhhhh help me.

Did he come home in his trainers?

I'm sure I went through school without losing a single item of clothing!

School must have a lost property, surely?

Wolfcub · 02/02/2018 17:20

Sounds familiar. We had that with the full PE kit last week and four days of strop and claiming there was no way to find it. I told ds if he didn’t make an effort to look for it he could purchase new PE trainers out of his own money at the weekend. The PE kit miraculously came home the next day

StellaHeyStella · 02/02/2018 17:20

Did he have PE/games today? It could be worth a ring round of his school friends/school friend's parents? I've found lost sports kit this way, it seems to be a free for all with dcs throwing random things into their bags at at the end of the lesson.
Can't help with strops I'm afraid, maybe wait five years or so Grin

BiologyMatters · 02/02/2018 17:21

Id let him go in whatever shoes he's got and if they're not right he can get detention for not wearing the correct uniform. That might focus him on finding them.

Racmactac · 02/02/2018 17:30

He has been told that if he doesn't find them then the football boots he wanted will have to go on hold.

Que crying and sulking.

They havent been taken off him by bullies and he is afraid to tell you?

Racmactac · 02/02/2018 18:56

@bilbodog highly unlikely I would think but I guess always possibility.

Warn him that unless he searches and brings them home you will be accompanying him to the lost property department to help him look.

I had a school uniform loser. It was mighty painful.
