That's it. My kids hate it. They get cold and muddy. It was OK when they were younger but now they want to stay in the warm to study!

Haveing SEN doesn't make you disadvantaged - it makes you work harder to keep up.

Are you having a fucking laugh?! Yeah I’m sure my DC with ASD can just ‘work harder’ to rid themselves of the disadvantages their disability brings.

Fuck my life, I’ve never heard anything so offensive or full of shit.

Forest schools are great.
The worst bit is picking the little buggers up afterwards.
Mine used to be stripped to their pants before getting in the motor after years of having to clean up the mud from the car.
I have never seen so much mud but the grins were worth It!
We used to line up with our rubber gloves (welly handling and misc dog poo stickings cos they had stomped right through it), bin sacks (clothes) and seat covers in the car park by the forest. You could always tell the ones who were doing it for the first time as they were always shocked by the state of their angels.
They learn so much.
Pta used to cover the cost of waterproofs and wellies for those kids with none.

My kids hate forest school. My boy finds it boring and my daughter says it is always to cold. One time, they told me kids were crying because they were freezing and wet.

Personally I found it a waste of a day. Kids should be learning Maths and English. No wonder UK education is going behind China. It shouldn't be compulsory. Those parents who want to send their kids there, and if the kid wants to go, then they go. Those doesn't want to go, should not. It doesn’t suit all children.

I can't believe how so many people like it. While developing countries are learning the importance of hygiene, people here encouraging kids to get their hands in the mud (with the occasional dog/cat/fox poo in it!) and then just wipe them before eating. Disgusting.
And what about the safety!? the whole trip walking on main roads towards the train station, actually waking behind the yellow line at train platforms, and the worse, what if a kid get lost in the forest!? or what if someone else (a pedophile) kidnap a kid?

Unfortunately, a tragedy has to happens for things to change.
