Isn't this similar than what was happening in Haringey? But the locals acted against it. My problem with building these flats is that I really think none of them will be truly affordable compared to the average salary in the area. So we end up again in the same situation. Council housing already taken up by long term residents and rest available at ridiculously inflated market rate.
