My best friends Ex is due to be sentenced today about being found guilty of multiple assaults on his previous two girlfriends, one of whom was pregnant at the time.

How soon is the sentence published in the paper/online?

He was reported for stalking/violent behavior when my friend broke up with him and so I'm reveling at the thought of him getting some just deserts.

When and How can I find out what sentence he's been handed?

I'd phone the Court. Not all cases are covered in the press, local or otherwise, and although there must be a record somewhere, I'm not aware of any sort of list of results available to Joe Punter.

Or you could attend in person.

It may not even be in the paper or online.

Or ask your friend. If it concerns her, she'll be told.
